I've been Playing Golf for: 20 years

My current handicap index or average score is: 7.8

My typical ball flight is: low, right to left.

The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: pull/hook/anything left

Videos:

I'm good for a ball or two going OB left each round, and it's killing me. The pull/hook or snap/hook probably costs me 4 strokes a round.

I've really never had a lesson, and haven't had a whole lot of feedback in a long time.

One thing that has helped keep me from snapping balls off the tee - I'll pull my wrists forward in front of the ball (which opens the face at address a bit). When I do this, I can really take a rip at it and feel fairly confident that it will work, but that's a band-aid.

Any feedback, despite the poor video quality/different clubs (I'm hitting a 52 in the first video, I believe), would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the site.

Would like to see you not over-flex the right arm towards the end of the backswing. When this happens the arms are too slow (in relation to the pivot) on the downswing causing you to flip it coming into impact.

Good threads to check out on how to fix it. The right arm will feel straighter and "wider", overall backswing will feel shorter, almost like you're making a 3/4 backswing. This will put you in a better position to "fire" the arms on the downswing.
