I dont like to drink and play golf. Pool is another matter. I love beer and pool. But I do drink a couple of cans if I am playing golf with my office buddies. The first can actually helps. Two is alright. After that, performance goes down drastically though at that point, I like many would like not to believe it.
I used to live in Singapore. With the sounds bouncing off all those buildings, it is sure to be the loudest race of the year. Earmuffs should be a hotselling item in Singapore this year.
If you hit a high ball now without apparently taking a divot, I think it should be something to do with the shaft. That discussion needs real knowledge and not rambling which my opinion really is.

Top-class professional golf is a small world and Poulter is likely to find himself the target of ridicule for some time, starting today when rumour has it that his peers are planning to abandon the Emirates driving range at a prearranged signal, leaving the Englishman and Woods to practise together.

``I'm three shots behind the world No. 1, so I've got some catching up to do,'' fifth-ranked Els said. ``I've got to shoot low and hope he has a terrible round -- and shoots 68.''
Ok. you asked for it..so..
I really like your grip pressure. It seems very relaxed and the swing as a result is real fluid.
The other thing I observed was the axis of your shaft at address. I am not sure what club you were hitting there..looks like a mid-iron. If that is the case, I would keep my grip in front of the ball and hit down on the ball. It seems from the angle of the sideview video that your hands are about even or slightly behind with the ball. My guess is that your ball trajectory is on the flat side. How well do you spin the ball?
Otherwise just a nice easy pretty swing.
He has not done it, he has no respect for the few who have actually competed with Tiger on a Sunday ( Ernie and Woody at Southern Hills, Phil even winning recently ). That shows how over the top he is about his own skills. He does not even realize where his league is.
Tiger is way ahead of everyone else at least for the next 10 years. People like Poulter would do well to just think that it was their good karma to have been in the reckoning at even one tournament with Tiger.
Mr.Pants might just be running his mouth off to please his sponsors.
I did take a look last night.
It seems a little mechanically contrived. It looks like a highly 'coached' swing. I wonder if somewhere down the line, you are fighting your natural grace just to get into certain positions.
But if it works for you and and are making progress with it, you will do very well to discount my opinion.
So you acknowledge that as a businessman, he took a few good decisions for his company's benefit. The hard facts are that he is a successful businessman. I am not the most knowledgeable about the ethics of it but you cannot dispute his success as a businessman.
I agree. I was not born in the US nor am i a citizen now but I can tell you that this is by far the best country in the world for the opportunities it gives everyone to lead an equal, fulfilling life. You have the right to have a say in how everything rolls in this land and to a larger extent the world and you should exercize it in the best way you deem fit.
There is greater risk in not being involved than being involved and getting it wrong once in a while.
cant watch videos in the office. will take a look later. My comments might only be of aesthetic value to you anyway. It is sort of hard to get a few good golfers on here to comment on your swing based on streaming video. Try Danny's swing check. You might be seen around the world that way.
The only thing I have to say to that is that corporate business is predominantly a windows world. At least at user interface level, they have almost the entire market in the office.
If Macs are so efficient, why is not chosen in places where real money is made instead of being an exclusive preserve of a few free spirits and multimedia geeks?
From reading this thread, I think your problem is more mental than anything else. Golf is about setting and managing expectations too. I am sure a few people who are around you would have pointed you in the direction of Bob Rotella's books.
I wish you good luck and hope you put the fun back in playing this game.
Here I am at the apartment swinging away with all my clubs using this tip and it feels wonderful. Probably the missing link in my transition to an inside-out stock swing. Fingers crossed. Thank you.
