  2. Well a huge difference between the Free 2.0's and the TW 13's is waterproof materials used in the TW 13. I also have a pair of Free's and they are anything but waterproof. Insanely comfortable though!
  3. Amen to that. I'd say 119.99 or so next year. Don't think they'll go down too fast unless Tiger spontaneously loses popularity again.
  4. Just bought this today. EASILY as comfy as true linkswear while not looking like a slipper. The balance in them is tremendous. The price was a little steep but I must say they are well worth it. The wider base allows for stability and better traction, which is very nice. But the main reason I bought these was the 'free' design. I'm a high school golfer, leading to the fact that I walk at least 100 holes a week, so light and durable shoes are a must. The TW emblem on the heel and tongue is probably a major con to some, but if you actually care about your feet and your lower body, you'll get these shoes.
  5. Yeah that's my only problem. Merely a high schooler so don't have much money to spend on a shaft. We shall see what I can do.
  6. Good morning everybody! I'm looking for a new shaft for my Titleist 910 D2. Currently have a Diamana Kai'li (stiff) in it, which has a mid kickpoint. I'm in need of a high kickpoint shaft which will help reduce torque and therefore keep the ball low. Any suggestions are much appreciated!
  7. All I need for my sunset rounds is my trusty 4 iron of course, but besides club(s), my 42 oz of Arnold Palmer and one ProV1. Bringing one ball and only one really puts the pressure on ya.
  8. My best shot of yesterday was on the par 3 17th. It's a slight downhill, 155 yard shot, always dead into the wind. I pulled out a smooth 8 iron from my arsenal. It started about 6 feet right of the hole and drew beautifully before landing 6 feet past and zipping back to 2. Kick in for birdie! If only I would have read the green a little better I could of aced it! haha.
  9. If you're looking for something cheap and challenging, surely check out Elmbrook!
  10. Really checkin out these Lunar Controls, any big differences between this years model and last years?
  11. Thanks for the replies! I'll check out all of em after practice later. Looking for something aesthetically pleasing as well but not top top priority. Leaning towards Nike or FJ. Haven't heard much about the true links wears yet..
  12. In dyer need of some new golf shoes! I'm probably going to need something that holds up well in rain, comfort would be nice as well. Looking to spend a hundred dollars or less. My grandpa has been suggesting some dryjoys but I'm open to anything! Thanks for all input! -Caiden
  13. Yeah it didn't take me too long to figure out the hybrid wasn't gonna stay very low unless I topped the hell outta it. Fairway woods are a generally good club to hit the shot with, right? Looking to get a new one soon, possibly the new RBZ by TM if all goes well in the Masters Prediction Contest!
  14. Yeah what you said, I worded mine poorly. My shoulders fail to fully rotate with the swing thought of sliding the hips. When I rotate them, I get a nice, high draw.
  15. Thanks for all the replies! Yeah my irons are being reshafted right now so I guess I'll try it with a hybrid or even go as far as experimenting with the Driver. I need a low, boring go-to tee shot for the gales this year!
  16. Alright maybe a little more technical? That's slightly obvious as you watch all of Tiger's beautiful low riders.
  17. Now, I'm sure similar threads discuss the same, but I'm merely too lazy to explore more for it through the mere 156 pages of threads. Does anyone have a quick swing and stance solution to hitting a great stinger with a wood or an iron? I'm in DYER need of a wind shot, as I have a to the moon ball flight! Also, would love to create a shot that can stay low under a row of trees. My home course is covered with some pretty big ones. Any suggestions would be thoroughly appreciated, and feel free to lead me to related threads you may have seen! Thanks a bunch.
  18. Agreed on if you do this correctly, it is astounding! But, if you make minor errors throughout the process, you're facing some hard slices. Rotating the hips, in my opinion, is a more forgiving technique and swing thought!
  19. For starters ,Golf Season for my High School kicked off just last week, so I'm still pretty rusty. Today I played horrendous overall, due to the fact that I just handed over my irons to my pro shop to get them reshafted over the weekend, so I was left with some beautiful, rusty, 90's knockoff full cavity backs. Couldn't hit them all round. Pulled out a half hybrid on two of the par threes from 150, pretty tough shot. Back to the story though. Sort of best 3 shots of the week haha! Hole #15. Par 5. 585 yards, with a rolling fairway for the tee shot, then it's all uphill, with a blind second shot. I nailed my drive so that it kicked off the downslope of a mound in the center. Carried it about 270, with a roll out of 30 yards. I pull out my Bushnell so I can try and snipe the tippy top of the yellow flag barely revealing itself above the last hill. OB right, thick pine trees left, It's generally a lay up for that second shot. The problem was, I hadn't hit any iron straight today whatsoever, So I said to myself, "The HELL with it!" and ripped off my 910D2 headcover. I had a pretty flat lie, slighty uphill, but incredibly tight. Very muddy from last nights rain too. I took a practice swing with a more upright swing, and I dove in. I couldn't have picked it more clean. It started about 25 yards right, but a beautiful, low draw followed. I had no idea where it had landed as it was blind, but as I hiked up that last hill, to my amazement, I had made the green. I was a mere 15 feet to the right of the back pin. The greens were just aerated the day before, so I knew I didn't need to put much on the putt. Straight as an arrow, I nailed it, hit the back of the cup, but hopped in. Right after the round, I felt like buying a nice Ping visor. So that's what Bubba Watson felt like...
  20. Somebody's probably mentioned it in other terms, but three simple words right here: Pull that pocket! That right pocket (left pocket if you're a misfit) should rotate, not slide, slightly before your arms, creating some lag and in turn, some nice distance bonuses. Stay Classy.
  21. The HEX Chrome and Black are actually replacements to the Tour I(s) and I(z). The Hx Diablo Tour's been discontinued to an extent. Possibly try out the Nike One Vapors. They're quite cheap, around 25 bucks a pop. Good luck! Also, if you're willing to experiment, maybe the new Titleist Velocity? Supposed to have exceptional distance at an affordable price. Do whatcha wanna do though!
  22. The 392 is obviously the older model, but it was less player friendly. Harder core, but in my opinion, a whole lot of bite to it. The ProV1 is still a hard ball, but nothing compared to the 392. It's a rock.
