Hey, it happens to the best of us. I've been there many a time. I shot a 78 on week and than an 88 the next on the same course. Thats golf! It even happens to the pros. Padraig Harriangton shot a 61 followed up by a 73 at the Transitions Championship. Happens at all skill levels.

Where did you get the clubs from? Hopefully it was a reputable dealer or they could be counterfeit. There is a lot of counterfeit golf stuff nowadays. Just a thought.

Congrats!! Part of the reason you broke your record is due to the unseasonably warm weather we've had. 60's in January?? Yeah, I've only made it out once...so definitely jealous.

Battle Golf like in the Tiger Woods game. Match play format. The winner of the hole gets to take a club out of the opponents bag. If you win a hole you have the option of taking your club back or taking one of your opponents. I think it would be a blast...as long as I'm playing good that day.

In High School our coach made made us take our drivers out of the bag in a 9 hole practice round. So we were forced to take 3 wood or long iron off the tee. Needless to say we all shot better than we normally did. He got to tired of us not taking practice rounds seriously by being careless with our drivers. Point Proven though. So, yes less clubs could help especially with ball striking and making irons go a few extra yards.
