  4. I keep a ball marker, 3 tees and a divot tool in my right pocket during the round. The front pouch on my bag holds all of my balls. I have 2 big side pockets on bag too, that holds a majority of the rest.
  5. i love the mashed potatoes guy,
  6. I was Following Rickey Dustin and Sergio on the 12th hole, and it was crazy when Ricky sank the putt. Right after that, he went straight to the porta potty. LOL
  7. Thanks for the tip! I'll look in my local pharmacy for some neoprene wrap. And as for the ibuprofen thing... trust me. i take plenty of those.... hahahah
  8. what brand tape do you use for your finger??? i need some for my right hand. i cant stand wearing a glove on my right hand so i'll just tape it.
  9. I have tendonitis in my right wrist and im looking for something like a wrist band or wrap to help deal with the pain when i play golf. I've also tried icy hot, and tiger balm, but i dont like the odor they make when my arm gets sweaty. Any suggestions ???
  10. Im Glad the lessons helped you out! I plan on taking some lessons at my local PGAtour superstore in the winter, so my swing wont get rusty, but i was never so sure if i should pay 50 dollars for 30 min lessons.....
  11. dont get all caught up in the ball stuff... Work on your swing!
  12. Dont worry about it. Alot of people do it. A LOT...... I always do that, but i buy some range balls too every now and then.
  13. I agree, people stress about short game too much! A good tee shot boosts confident, and confident = good round
  14. Man! I always wanted to go to Pebble Beach. To see a major there is even better!
  15. no, i only went to day one. it was really nice there. No one was doing really good that day...
  16. What can i say. IT WAS AWESOME.!!!!!! This was my first major i've ever been too and what better one to go to than the PGA Championship! (expect the masters....) I Followed Dustin Johnson, Ricky Fowler, and Sergio Garcia! They were really cool to see in person and they did pretty good. I didn't get any autographs, but im glad i got to stand 5 ft away from the three guys, and breath the same air they're breathing. lol btw... i almost got hit my Sergio's ball on the 16th hole. hahah
  17. Luke Donald is ranked #1 atm! Hope it stays that way
  18. Mine's Luke Donald. He's one of the best when it comes to bunker shots. I suck when i'm in the sand so he inspires me.... hahaha
  19. I always use the range balls....But im starting to feel more comfortable with my swing, so im going to start using Bridgestone e6 balls
  20. Well explained! I never knew what a handicap really does, but you just explained it perfectly. Thanks!
  21. Any time! Remember, play the game how you need to play it. Everyone plays differently. Give it some time, and never give up!
  22. I always buy my drivers from the "used" bin. Appearance doesn't matter to me, just performance.
  23. hi John, i might be able to help reduce your slice, If your right handed, you might have a really strong grip. You want your grip to be neutral. It's hard to explain, so go on youtube and look for some good golf grip videos. Your grip makes a big difference! I had the same problem when i first started. And for your driving distance issue, try not to use your driver to tee off, use your 3 wood or even an iron. You'll land much more shots onto the fairway. I didn't touch my drive for the first 2 weeks when i played because i kept slicing it. Eventually, i found a good tempo for my swing, and i fixed my golf grip, now i hit drives 245-260 yards on the fairway about 85% of the time.
  24. Man i love my scotty putter. I would go ape Sh*t if someone stole it. Sorry bout that, but i hope you enjoy your new clubs!
  25. Not to sound cheep or anything, but i learned a whole lot from youtube videos! I too need some lessons from a pga pro, but i'm still trying to work things out on my own and with some friends.
