  2. They just replenished these on the website for the public release of the Vegas stuff if anybody wants one for $44
  3. 8-2. Indicating Line of Play a. Other Than on Putting Green Except on the putting green, a player may have the line of play indicated to him by anyone, but no one may be positioned by the player on or close to the line or an extension of the line beyond the hole while the stroke is being made. Any mark placed by the player or with his knowledge to indicate the line must be removed before the stroke is made. Exception: Flagstick attended or held up - see Rule 17-1. b. On the Putting Green When the player's ball is on the putting green, the player, his partner or either of their caddies may, before but not during the stroke, point out a line for putting, but in so doing the putting green must not be touched. A mark must not be placed anywhere to indicate a line for putting. I believe this would suggest that as long as you use the 5ft long ruler behind the ball and not on the line of the putt, you can use it as long as its removed before the putt is hit. Maybe a person more knowledgeable to the rules can jump in here.
  4. Has absolutely nothing to do with reading greens. It is simply an alignment aid. With that being said, I am an extremely linear person, and I like it. Have had mine since the original CC meeting/release. Iacas, If you want one and are not a club cameron member, the next time they are available (probably next release) I will buy one and you can paypal me. Let me know if your interested. Matt
  5. I played both courses at Bear Creek when I was there last time. Both nice, Easet course is better though. Think I only paid $35 a round for them.
  6. I think Titleist is coming in the next 3-4 weeks. At least I heard from my pro that is true about the new drivers and I am almost certain about the new fastback and squareback Scotty Camerons. EDIT for new info. Looks like mid to end of Oct early Nov on the drivers is what he just told me. The Cameron stuff is still very real though.
  7. I bought a Scotty that had been cut from 35" to 33" and it is so light I cant hardly play with it. I gave it to my wife. I know for a fact if you cut 2" off of it, you have basically nothing more than a gift for the special someone in your life, or a wall hanger.
  8. T10 Newport 2 "button back" Tour Actually, Id be pretty tempted to buy one now if I could find it.
  9. www.blackoxideservices.com They also do refurb work. I just sent one of my TEI3s back to them for refinish, it is going to be a gamer, so I did not go with the custom shop. Mine was 45 bucks for a refinish, including fixing any dents, scratches, new paintfill, polish the insert, and in my case, I wanted to add a sight line. All the pics I have show they do great work.
  10. Also trying to get to singles. Started at 12.8 this year. I have been stuck where I am for a month or so and am really having a hard time getting it to go down any more. Congrats!!
  11. Missed an opportunity to buy one of these about 2 weeks ago for $550. Still upset that I didnt do it.
  12. I dont just understand why it cant be what it is. If you want to pay the money for a cameron then do it, its probably not going to dramatically better your putting, but if it makes you feel better and you have the money do it, and who cares about everything else. I am a putter ho, I have several different styles and brands. I have a Yes Tiffany that I have a hard time putting the ball into the ocean with, 2 camerons, the TEI3 is a great, soft putter, and it looks good, the circa 62 I got a good deal on, an odyssey white hot 2 ball, and a t.p. mills. I play the TEI3 every day, but whenever it gets me in trouble, I always put it in the closet for timeout and go with the old 2 ball. Its always responsive, and makes good putts until I feel better about the other. Moral of the story, buy what you want and **** em Just a side note, some of the early 80s Ray Cooks were designed and inspired by scotty cameron. If I could find one, Id buy it.
  13. Its almost un-American to play a game where you are out after 2 strikes.
  14. Im one of the addicts that was on all day tuesday and wednesday refreshing the cameron page waiting on the new release. Got a new cash cover, headcover, polo and t-shirt.
