  1. think of it like this.... when you set up with your left arm straight (if your RH) and get your body in position. your gonna be lifting the club back w/ your shoulders. remember that your hinged at the waist about 45 degrees w/ your back straight (it is very important to maintain good posture while taking your shots). if you don't make any adjustments, when you bring the club back on the same swing path. it should be in the correct spot for impact. also remember : -the lead shoulder on the backswing goes under the easily chin not running into it. -ball position is important, 3-5 iron an inch from center, 6-8 iron center, and 9-sw an inch from center or even center. -w/ irons your hands should be infront of the ball (closer to the hole) at address and through impact. - a solid but loose grip (just enough from letting the club slip out of your hands. - remember to say , "i think i can, i think i can, i think i can."
  2. either on the range or when you play. use markers to measure distance. (200yard, 150yard, 100yard i've even seen a 60yard marker)
  3. Please try to keep it honest. Thank you.
  4. ESPN and NBC have better sports coverage than TNT.... but TNT has Charles Barkley during basketball season (the most entertaining commentator ever)... cause they have more experience in broadcasting and filming sports... tnt is known to play movies and shows rather than sports... but they've always played atlanta braves games... only cause its turner's team
  5. slow play can ruin the tempo for a lot players.... so lets speed it up and please don't play more than one ball....

  7. http://www.videojug.com/film/how-to-...ect-golf-swing this video is one of the best instructionals i've seen. also lining up the ball near the heel of the club will help promote an inside-out swing path. good luck w/ your irons...
  8. Golf is like 65% mental.... cause you gotta zone out your surroundings, focus on your shots. also you have to remember to do a checklist to make sure you are set up correctly. visualize your shot and be confident in your swing, even if you just hit +2 the last hole. remember each time you set up on the ball, take the game as one shot at a time. another golf lie is don't move your head during your swing. all the great have a little movement on their back swing. think of it as let the ball get in the way of your swing. again trust your swing...
  9. for a par-3 200 yard (even lie or green is higher than tee) i would use a 3 wood but not a full swing. a nice smooth swing. ( i have yet to check my swing speed but for example; if my avg swing speed is 100 i would try to go 75-80)
  10. i believe trying out new things can be a great advantage, but has the flipside of actually making your golf game worse.... just because you hit decently on the range doesn't necessarily translate the same results on the course. thats the problem with public ranges here in southern california. i have yet the see a grass range, every range in california i've been to, use practice mats. i see people getting good distance but they don't realize that their club bounced off the mat before contact w/ the ball. remember the divots come after contact.... don't be too quick to change your set up, you might just need to work on your swing rather than try to move the ball to accomodate your swing...
