  1. your grip is too strong... this is a quick fix to play with blisters (you can put on before playing or after getting the blister.) medical adhesive tape. its the one that looks tan on both sides. tape look like its about 1mm thick and can strech. i've used it before and it helps a lot.
  2. thats an in to out swing path. i wouldn't want to change that but try to work on hitting a draw shot. learn to close the face a little sooner than tyring to hit a straight shot. i'm still suffering from a cutting out to in swing path... =T
  3. um... i live in la and we don't have public grass ranges... unless your a baller and have a country club membership...
  4. spend more time on the range hitting small chips, pitches and bump'n'runs. unless you have a practice area just for that. in LA we got driving ranges and putting greens but a few places have greens specifically to practice chipping pitching and bump'n'runs. i've spent more time practicing on the putting greens and it has drasticlly help my putting.
  5. i used to play hockey, for about 4 years. i guess i was blending a slap shot with my golf swing. my left shoulder would open up past square, just like hitting slap shot. so my take is; because i open the target side shoulder out a bit its changing the path of the swing and trying to kill the ball isn't letting me close the face by impact. i went the range the other day and was hitting fine. hopefully it will be like that this sunday....
  6. are you irons graphite? steel? driver graphite? steel? i would think that if you had steel irons and driver with graphite both swings would be have to be paced differently. correct me if i'm wrong...
  7. i never said you couldn't look at the hole to judge the distance. i meant that looking at the hole while you stroke the ball might not be the best advice for putting..
  8. i use a 25¢
  9. not totally correct. you do look at the hole in pool but you keep a low profile to see the line of ball you are trying to hole. then see what point the cue ball must hit the other ball to take the right path. i consider myself a very good pool player, i can spin, jump, bank, combo, masse, etc. but i'm also sure that all those other sports you do still do look at the ball rather than then target at times. not saying your completely wrong but looking at the hole while in the act of putting isn't a piece of advice i would pass on. if your looking at the hole to focus on your target. wouldn't that pure focus on the hole lead you to misread break? i think looking down and trusting your stroke and not your eyes is a better idea...
  10. i used to live near trump national. used to pass by it every weekday to get to my jr.high school.... that was around 1998.... i still remember when the course naturally decided that it wanted to go into the ocean... ahhh memories... looks like a great course for you ballers.... i gotta play there atleast once.... =T
  11. what kind of grip are you using? baseball, interlocking, overlapping? is face twisting open or are your arms swinging so hard that you don't allow the face to close?
  12. why tuck in my shirt if it keeps trying to untuck when i swing...
  13. congrats.... keep on rollin in those putts...
  14. if you see her point of view and agree. stop being so ignorant. the pga (mens, womens, and senior) is meant for the best players in the world to compete in the US. complaining about having a lot of koreans in the lgpa is like complaining how come there are so many mexicans in los angeles..... yea they're everywhere here but without them who's gonna do all the hard daily grind jobs. (they work a lot of the jobs americans won't take) they need us as much as we need them... lpga needs the korean players as much as the korean players need the lpga... - they expand the market - bring more competition - possibly bring in more sponsors (samsung,lg,kia, hyundai could one day start sponsoring events) -
  15. i still don't believe its as easy as you say it is. if were that simple... we would be seeing a lot more mid to low handicappers... those are steps to get the correct swing down but that doesn't translate to "impossible to play bad golf". it takes hard practice and discipline to get better at golf...
  16. wrong... he might have a 2 plane swing or changing the down swing into an outside-inside swing plane. i have been having this very issue but hopefully i can get my downswing back to inside-out...
  17. why should it? you just finished the shot... it shouldn't matter... only reason it would cause a problem... what if someone is about to hit on another hole and hears it right when he hits... that would be the only issue to me...
  18. ... i can't give an estimate cause it varies on how busy the course is... oh how i hate it when i get stuck behind the +30 handicapper... always messes with my tempo...
  19. off a tree, cart path then OB down the cliff in one shot - " Grand Slam!" watching the ball roll off the green and into some rough - " He could go all the way!" when your partner can't find the hole ( bad golf day) - "you remind me of Michael Jordan..... playing baseball" after leaving a chip/pitch/bump n' run/ putt way short - "my little sister is looking for a playing partner, you intrested?" after your playing partner hits 2-3 drive OB off one tee - "where did you get lessons at? big5 ?" after your playing partner swings and totally misses it - "streeerike!" (odviously not spelled like that) or "i heard ceaser's palace is looking for fan boys" when a player thinks he hit a good shot and turns out bad - " man... your like tiger woods..... of sucking" Odviously you wouldn't say this to random playing partners.
  20. "Looks like a beach party" -multiple players in bunker/sand trap "One upper" - when the player behinds you shoots a better shot than your great shot.
  21. it goes to the left and curls in right. i would say it would go left 5-6 ft and then back to the target. which made me to believe the out to in swing path. like cutting at the ball maybe...
  22. recently i've developed a fade with my 6i all the way up to my driver. i think its cause of a out to in swing path i picked up. i want to get rid of it. i think i've been over swinging and its been causing this change. any one with some helpful advice?
  23. -no 3 putts -shoot 90 or under (par 72) - 0 balls lost
  24. Sweep with your driver/woods (even high irons)... Hit down with your irons...
  25. lakers will sweep the series from here on out. 3 at home and 1 at boston.... its already done, son....
