  1. I don't think it would change your scores v/much anyway
  2. I don't mind being in the rough, as long as I miss IN THE RIGHT SPOTS, where I still have a clear shot and decent lie, but not in trees etc. But I only average about 40% of fairways, and my GIR is just embarrasing, like 20%. But my short game is like a 2 handicap.
  3. 7 Iron, i seem to hit it well every time. And it's also my practice club.
  4. I see you now have a superquad. I'd trade your 905R.. But There is a problem of what side of the ball I stand on. Damn
  5. Never understood his username "Lamebums".... And guy above him is the same as me, I haven't changed handicap for 6 months.
  6. I am a junior to and i'm 14 When I turn up for comp, some guys have a little cry, but some don't care... At my club, if an adult takes a chunky divot and doesn't fill it, no one cares. If us juniors don't fill it, it is an auto 1 month ban. Yes, they encourage us juniors. Not
  7. When I went to my local launch monitor, it said I was hitting the ball 180metres carry, and at my local course, I reguarly carry a water hazard on a hole that requires a 220m carry? I would say they are unaccurate...
  8. I just did that then, and I did it with my shafts too with the metal polish to stop rusting. They look really good!!
  9. LOL, that's the opposite to me. If i take 3 wood off the tee, it is only going left, right, topped or fat. Lucky you.
  10. I've tried asking this question before about fairway woods and I got told no, so I'm guessing it will be the same for the driver?
  11. Was the vokey you tried SPIN MILLED? If you couldn't get any spin with a SM, you have some problems with your tecnique. Which course do you play at in perth?
  12. Well I would try using a softer cover pro-v1, and a newer 60* wedge like a vokey SM, and then the technique is to trap the ball in between the ground and club and don't let it slide up the face too much.
  13. You could trade them in for i10s, or you could just use them but make yourself hit them well.
  14. If everyone had a flat, floating platform that would stay still when they swung, then yes, you would see those shots. I guess everyone will have to go and get one? But seriously, if golf ball floated, in the middle of a lake, you would be waiting 2 hours for it to float back into you anyway... Rounds would be a bit longer?
  15. I have a question like this Is it possible for me to de-loft my D1 to 9.5 (1* lower), or will this break it or reduce the performance? Otherwise I will just get a used 905R.
  16. Well, if you've got the money, you may as well, and by looking at your Sig, it looks as if you do!
  17. I have a question: Which is more forgiving in DISTANCE for shots off the toe/heel/high on the face (out of rough, not fat)? 695.CB, AP2? And which is more workable for high and low shots? (if you have even hit the 695.cb's) Thanks
  18. No problem, althought you probably don't need a titleist fairway, as the X tour is a great club, just you need a graphite shaft in it. I play a wilson staff 3 wood, but I didn't have a fairway wood for a while and just used my hybrid, but eventually decided that I needed the extra length and height that the 3 wood offered me! Good luck choosing, tell us what your final decision is mate!
  19. I had the same problem when i FIRST bought my 585. But after a while, I started to hit my 3 wood better and it started to go longer? Maybe the same will happen to you? Maybe try a graphite shaft in your 3 wood, or a 15* loft on it.
  20. LOL, yeah, my clubs are around the wrong way! Sorry. Any more replies would be great. I am mainly thinking of changing the loft as into the wind I balloon the SH$T outta the ball and it goes not even 200m, and my average is about 235-245m.
  21. At the moment, with my 907.D1, with 10.5 and stiff shaft. I hit an extremely high spinning, high launching ball flight (14.5-17* launch angle, 3000-4000 rp/m) I am thinking of buying a used 905R off ebay for a good price, with a stiff shaft and 9.5* of loft. Would this be a good idea, or would the higher ball flight be better.
  22. Nothing, except maybe (if dad feels like being nice), a 905R with 9.5* to hit a flatter ball at hard, fast courses.
  23. DRIVER: Titleist 905R 3 WOOD: Taylormade R7 TP HYBRID: Titleist PT.585 IRONS: Titleist 695.MB WEDGES: Vokeys PUTTER: Custom Scotty
