  1. As far as I'm concerned, you should have made your decision based on that comment above. In my opinion the two clubs are equally good looking, so asthetics wouldn't be a problem. But if you like the AP2's better, you need to ask yourself this; Is the difference in performance small enough that asthetics can make up for it. If you're still stuck, look at the price tag!
  2. Scotty Cameron is sooo overpriced. I bet that piece of c**p will cost you a pretty penny. Pointless.
  3. I use a 54.10. I think its a good, versatile, blend out of sand and also fairways. Ground is pretty soft here 90% of the time and our bunkers are, well rubbish, for lack of a better word... So maybe thats why it works for me.
  4. King Floyd ~ Groove me
  5. I prefer to use a hill.
  6. I find the clock drill really useful for building confidence in those short putts (yes confidence is very important in putting). Set lots of balls around the hole in a circle (I usually just use three or four and place them again after holing out). Take into account all different breaks, uphill, downhill crosshill etc... I start at about 3 feet from the hole and work back. If you miss one go back to the start.
  7. I run 2-3 times a week. nice hilly roads over here . the route I run is, I'd guess, about 8-9 miles there and back. What the heck could a parachute help you with!! (I'm thinking big floppy piece of material to slow you down when you fall out of a plane) To increase speed I just do sprints. Short ones. Lots of them.
  8. To quote Jack; "I found out a long time ago that air offers alot less resistance than dirt" (or something to that effect)
  9. As far as I know its a feel thing, raw and rusty is supposedly softer. Explain it to me, specifically? Because I'm agreeing with you!
  10. Except that a wedge that is rusty does not produce more spin...
  11. I don't like the look of them either. I've never really been a huge fan of any of those oil drenched or raw type finishes on wedges.
  12. I could n't care less what those guys think. Its not their decision who plays and who doesn't. That responsability falls to the sponsors, who have the right to give out exemptions to whomever they please. The top 70 (approx) players on tour weren't even there this week (Bridgestone), so there is 70 spots clear and Wie takes only 1 of them. If they are complaining about her being there, then they need to man up. There are sponsor exemptions at every tournament (nearly), its just a fact. As for Wies consistency, last year was a freak year, a blip in the redar, due to injury. Before the injury, she was pretty consistent. Something like three top 5's in majors.
  13. No, can't say I have. I've never been a huge fan of audio books. I suppose they're really handy for if you're driving or something. But I think it would take some of the pleasure of actually reading the book. I think Stephen Fry does the audio recording of the books for the UK. If JK herself did a recording of the books, that I would buy!
  14. What sets men and women golfers apart? The main factor is distance. In that department Wie has something that no other female golfer has. Her driving average at the Reno this week was over 300 yards. I'm betting Annikas' driving distance is nowhere near that. Before you go off on me. I am in no way in agreeance with the Wie camp about the sensibility of playing in the PGA tour events. I firmly believe she should dominate the LPGA first. Then consider the PGA.
  15. Why don't you care less? Why do you care so much? If Wie is getting spanked then what about the 8 or 9 guys that she finishged above, or the 50 or so that she beat on the Thursday? Should they give up ever thinking of competing against a PGA field ever again?
  16. Haven't noticed that. But I'll probably be watching out for it from now on! Of the 'trio' Rupert Grint seems like the only normal one. In their interviews those two are always crazy and Rupert is just sitting off to the side letting them get on with it.
  17. Not only is he a muppet, but he is a muppet who can't act. When I think of his acting skills I keep thinking of that horrendous(sp?) crying scene in PoA! in case you forgot In fairness though. The posession scene in OotP was just awesome...
  18. I love her anyway! Say what you like, but French girls ftw!!
  19. Mhmm, definately agree there. And the Scottish accent too *cringe*. Not that I've got anything against the scottish. I just didn't like her accent... Fleur is still the hottest woman in those films.
  20. My world has just come crashing down!! Ah well, life goes on. She can still be eye-candy though!
  21. True dat! Muse - Hysteria
  22. Metallica - Nothing else matters
  23. Emma Watson... very nice indeed. And she's 18 too!!
  24. Muse-Stockholm syndrome
  25. I know what you mean, it was something i got into when I was younger and its just stuck with me. I hated the first two/three. I wanted to hate the rest too, but ther're just getting better and better. I guess its because the books they're based on become more and more mature themed as they go along. Have you read the books?
