You win the internet then, congratulations!

I will almost always ask to play through, I too hate slow play, and I can live with it as long as finishing the round isn't on the line. I play so much though I'm almost always playing the cheap late tee and when I know some retards have no chance to finish before dark I become a real *******. I'll often yell, show obvious signs etc and even stupid people figure it out soon enough. Had a real tense play through yesterday with two guys that had no interest in finishing....

My lowest putt total in history, been playing about 2.5 years. Shot an 82 today at Bridlewood 71.7/131 about 6600 yards. I usually average 36 putts a round. I've worked heavily on ball striking the last year and my GIR is around 9. Today oddly found 7, granted a fee were very close. Stupid first hole triple playing through some high school team walking, hit a side hill lie approach OB. I'm thinking of finally starting to carry a handicap. Usually I'm rushing around as I'm always in a hurry during the week as am pressed for getting back to work. I'm still worried once I make it official I'll become Mr chokesville. Today knowing I should have shot a back nine 36 (lowest nine hole) I finished bogey then double for a 39.

Why do you say that? What am I missing?

Advice Please: New Driver or Lessons?
res0n0xg replied to KyleAnthony's topic in Instruction and Playing Tips
Sorry hitting 240-250 off the tee I just don't believe if you can't hit a driver. If you can hit a 2i 350 3w should be 300 all day just snap your current driver in half and throw it I'm the trash you should play scratch tomorrow. -
Loft isn't for everyone, I recently moved away from a callaway xhot 9.5, was simply launching too high between 14-16 degrees, and hated playing into the wind. Picked up an R1 after playing with an sldr and r1, and now play it at 8* and 2 degrees open and have been LOVING IT. I gained about 5% carry and 10% more roll, as my backspin was in the 2200 range vs 3000 with the xhot.

I don't use my 5W a ton, it's usually my go for it in 2 on Part 5 club, rarely will I ever use 3W on those situations as if I'm 260ish out I usually don't risk it. I like the 5W off the tee is tricky landing zones as it flies super high and lands soft, it's more forgiving than an iron distance wise too on mishits

I'd lose a club physically because I'd have to carry 3-PW instead of 4-PW, one extra... means I'd have to ditch a wedge or wood. My distance gap is perfect now. The 4i is so strong it's 220, 5w 235. So if i went to 3-pw, 3W, 3i = 220, but no 5W, which would really hurt it seems.

I've gotten to where I'm a pretty good ball striker and would like to move to the 712 ap2s as supposedly they're amazing. That being said, I'm afraid to lose the distance of my rocketbladez given their strong lofts, I love my 4i so much. Currently play 4-PW rocketbladez, 50, 56, 60. 5w 3w driver, putter. I feel I would need to carry 3-PW with the 712 ap2s to manage my distance gaps. , so I'd lose club somewhere..... Thoughts?

Got on one of those I want to spin the shit out of the ball fits and decided to fix what's not broken and changed my wedge shafts. I currently play 50* cg14, 56 and 60* xforged. Went to DG spinner shafts, I've lost about 10℅ distance in my 50 and 56 and also maybe a bit of control. Now I want to change shafts and really looking for what everyone else plays? What about the thought of keeping all your wedge shafts the same length?

Has one of your shot ever injured an animal or human?
res0n0xg replied to FlappyGilmore's topic in Golf Talk
I nailed a bird in a tree once, poor guy died on impact as it was a long iron in approach shot and I caught it slightly thin so it didn't make it over the tree. -
Update, shot an 87 today at Bridlewood but from the blue tees around 6557 yards, finished triple triple. Almost holed out sand wedge from 105 spun back about an inch from the cup. Sad I scored the same.
-
Shoot an 87 from a course 74.4 / 139 7111 yards or 79 from a course 68.3 / 108 about 6100 yards. The courses are in dfw, Bridlewood, and Lake Park. I have done both in the last week... I really enjoyed playing from the tips today as I usually play with my good friend who has about average distance so we never play from the tips...

20+ handicappers hitting 300 yards (mild rant)
res0n0xg replied to extremeld's topic in Instruction and Playing Tips
I was being brash and you probably don't think you're lying but I'll state both slice and boomer are simply incorrect.... You were getting to the point though, the tour pro's swing as hard as they can without losing their proper swing... IE getting too steep, flat, avoiding blocks, pulls, etc. it gets to a point where if you went crazy 100% overswing you'll end up losing distance over a smooth 90-95% swing as you'll create too much side spin or other bad things, lowering your smash factor thus lowering distance, not to mention if you're in the fairway or not... Oh, and FYI I am not a short hitter. I played today and had two drives out of six right at 300 yards, and averaged about 270-275 I would guess off the tee. -

What? Everything you said above is incorrect, both Tiger and Bubba swing very hard, much harder than many other tour pro's actually with smoother swings. Also, long drive guys do not average over 400 without a tail wind. Their have been multiple winners that aren't even close to 400, and they have WON with around 350. Bubba is notorious for taking huge swings at the ball off the tee. and by hurt distance i simply mean, if I don't "pure" a drive ie slight toe, too much draw/fade, balloons into a headwind slightly, etc. i'll see it drop 240-260 all the time, yet somehow you manage to avoid all those that everyone else has problems with? -

res0n0xg replied to extremeld's topic in Instruction and Playing Tips
you're still a liar. you drive as far on average as the number 1 player on tour and hit 375 yard drives with no wind on a flat surface? you should be famous. please show us famous articles and pictures of you shattering records and blowing out nearby windows in houses after you tee off. Last i checked i don't see the tour pros hitting 350 even down wind hardly ever. While it can be done, and I've done it maybe a handful of times down wind. averaging over 305 off the tee is extremely difficult, much less for a 10 handicap, which is in the range I play. there are far too many hooks, slight mishits, etc. from the big club that hurt distance a bunch. -

that's marketing trying to sell why their clubs are "better" though, so it's hard to take it tooooo seriously. -

with a clubhead speed of 115, you should be hitting 300 yard drives just about every single round unless you suck complete ass. Mine is around 112 and I typically will have 2-3 per round if I'm playing a long course and actually take the driver quite a bit. All it takes is a little bit of wind behind you to get you there and or a downhill fairway.
