  1. I have been working with the GolfGym for the past month now and "feel" like it has done something. I live in Michigan, so I haven't been able to get out much to see if I increased in my driving difference. It comes with 3 different resistances and a DVD that goes over all the excercises to do. Has anyone else used this? What do you think? Here is the link. http://www.golfgym.com/
  2. Why don't you just use a different ball when you get on the green to putt with?
  3. Actually it is pretty easy to do. I re-gripped my clubs for the first time last year and I found it very simple. This year however, I had a little trouble getting them on quickly. I think the reason for that was because I didn't have enough of the solution it comes with, so make sure you have enough of that.
  4. I started going to the indoor driving range about a mont and a half ago and have been hitting the ball great. I even went to a golf simulator and posted a pretty good score. Yesterday however, I went to the range and right from the get go, I didn't feel comfortable above the ball and it showed in my swing. I hit some good shots, but had some really bad ones as well...more than usual. What can I do to overcome this because my confidence just took a little hit when it was at an all time high?
  5. I agree this is a great show, but I was very dissapointed last year when they moved it to the Rock Finacial building. It seemed last year they had a lot of vendors for golf courses and not a lot of vendors for equipement. I hope it is better this year.
  6. Thanks for the all the replies everyone.
  7. I am looking to do a some light excercises that would help my golf game. I don't have any weight lifting equipement or want to go to a gym. We have a treadmill, which I will do cardio, but what about some strength and flexibility excercises? I am thinking of some type of stretch strength conditioning with those stretch things. Does anyone have any other quick excercises they suggest?
  8. I was just washing off my clubs and I filled our laundry tub with hot water to let my club heads soak for minute before washing them off. Well obviously I shouldn't have. The plastic ferrule that connects the shaft to the club head came loose. Some now slide up the shaft. How do I fix this? Can I just get an epoxy to glue it back?
  9. Pick up Dave Pelz book "Short game Bible". It has a lot of good stuff in there with this type of problem.
  10. Well I got my Ledbetter swing setter for $100 total including shipping. Check ebay out and you might be able to get them cheaper. I heard the heavy club does work because it forces you to be on the correct swing plane if you want to go a cheaper route...and maybe the same effectiveness. I will let you know how I like my Ledbetter club.
  11. I actually just bought the David Ledbetter swing setter so I am going to swing that all winter. Has anyone tried this? If so, what is your review??
  12. I did a bunch of reseach today and am thinking about getting the David Ledbetter swing aid. Has anyone used this? Let me know how you like it.
  13. Well I was thinking of buying something from the internet, but there are so many sites stating theirs is the best. Just looking for people who actually purchased something they really think helped their game.
  14. Played Arcadia Bluffs in Arcadia, MI. Golf Digest rated it as one of the top 10 public courses in the country. The views were unreal. It is located right along lake Michigan. Didn't shoot well, but still had a great time.
  15. I am looking for a good swing aid to bring to the dome this winter and would like to know what is the best swing aid to help with swing consistency??? I tend to be very inconsistent with my shots...some shots pulled, pushed, hooked, sliced.
  16. What do you guys do during the winter months? Any drills you do during the winter? I plan on getting to the dome at least once a week and just practicing putting in my basement. Is there something I should concentrate at the dome?
  17. I usually can hit it on average of 280yds, sometimes getting over 300.
  18. Tiger will for sure go down as the best golfer of all time....without a question.
  19. I am an engineer for an automotive supplier in Michigan.
