they do that if they sell under the Minimum set price by Ping but they can have them on sale if they stay over that mark
-
I've seen vokeys on sale before, it was several weeks ago, I gt in the proshop and they were about 25% off, that might have been end of season liquidation thought

It is not face balanced, the face sits at about 45 degrees. I have one, didn't use it on the course all that much but really like the feel and distance control I had with it...I did have a few putts were I did hit the ground before the ball, probably cause I'm more used the a plumber's neck, mine has a 350g head(it was originally 33") so it felt a bit heavy to me as I'm used to 330g heads...I really liked it tought

What to do with my Scotty?
Whiplash replied to Hoselrockets's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
well I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on that as I know for a fact that a whole bunch of people won't touch a scotty with an aftermarket finish with a 10 foot pole... -

I agree that if it's only for a paintfill job you should do it yourself, but having an aftermarket finish done on your putter will probably cut at least half of the potential buyers if you ever think about selling it, same thing can be said for the stamping -
ask for a picture of the face

Send it to the Custom Shop, especially if you ever intend to even think about selling it, and personally I'd get it back to original paintfill and finish -

Thanks Alot StoneCutter, I'll definitly consider looking at County Louth and Headford....rain gear was pretty much the first thing I bought in preparation for the trip, even before my travel case...I'm starting to think that I should definitly have stayed longer there seems to be so many great courses cant wait to be there in a few days :) -

How far from Montreal's island are you willing to get? as I live just off the island I know more courses off of it, and I've only been playing for a year as well so I don't know that many courses yet. my favorite is Base De Roc, Ile de Montreal is really good from what I heard, and it's on the Island (eastern part of the island), I could Try to dig a bit further for you, especially north east of the Island, I'm playing a new course (well new to me) in a few hours Base de Roc : http://www.golfbasederoc.com/ is a little more than half an hour north-east of Montreal, is good and not that expensive. Ile de Montreal : http://www.cgimgolf.com/ is 2 links courses that are a little bit more expensive and from what I have heard quite a bit challenging. it is located in the eastern part of Montreal's Island (I still havn't played there) when are you planning to be over here? hope this helps, Simon -
I might Have US Open and PGA on a level field thought but THE Open way ahead and the Masters way behind

Custom Scotty Cameron Pictures

some of these collections are truly marvellous, the tools and especially Headcover collections are WAY over the top in some cases -
I own a Nike Extreme sport (last years model), I really like it's weight, pockets and straps BUT, if you play 14 clubs that ain't for you, there are 6 dividers at the top but only 4 are going all the way and the clubs get tangled quite often. it's also a bit wierd to put on a cart if you want the pockets to face towards the back, I usually invert all my clubs if I'm to ride to counter that. If I had known what I now know I wouldn't have gotten that bag(mostly cause I didn't expect to get to 14 clubs that soon and that there are no tangling at 12 or less clubs) hope this helps

Well I tought St-Annes looked nice...but I guess that from it's own site it likely would have...That's pretty much why I intended to play there but I might very well opt to skip it now I'll make sure to look more deeply into the courses that you mentioned, thanks alot I really appreciate it Simon -

thanks Alot guys, it's a shame I won't have the time to get to County Down Portmarnock sounds like a great idea, Simon -
Hello everyone, I'm going to be in Dublin from August 14th to the 20th and was wondering where to play, I'll almost definitly play St-Annes but I'm not really sure elsewhere I should play. I am more interrested in links but I'd sure play a great parkland if there is one in my price range(pretty much means under 80-100 Euros a round which unfortunatly excludes both the Island and Royal Dublin), would love to ear your input, Simon
-
thanks I'll definitly try that, that sounds a lot better than my firsts Ideas which were to chime something underneath the bag or try to add straps in the case, thanks again, Simon
-
I just got a Datrek Hard case travel cover and realised that there are no straps in it to prevent the bag from moving up and down, Is there a good way to make sure the bag will be secured at the top/bottom or is this pretty much unnecessary cause of the foam at the top? thanks Simon

I'd say about 10 yards

Which major is more fun to watch on TV, the Masters or the US Open?
Whiplash replied to Oregon Golf Ho's topic in Tour Talk
If I have to chose between those two I'd say The US open easily, that's pretty neat to have been able to watch golf yesterday coming back from work but the one that I'm really looking for, and the only one that I was watching before I started playing is the Open, I remember getting up early to get to watch it in the morning. my ranking would be 1 The Open T2 US / PGA 4 Masters
