  1. With today's conference, he may feel free to come back whenever he decide to. I like to see him better behaving on the course and winning more majors.
  2. +1, My backswing is until I feel slight resistance during back swing. I have a problem when I am trying to hit, even though I'm a swinger. My routine is couple of practice swing just to refresh my rhythm and repeat that swing with no sensation of hitting.
  3. Can't wait to find out what he's going to say tomorrow.
  4. 3 wood is sweet when it works....hybrid is probably versatile and easier on any lie. So this is not easy answer.
  5. I hope he'll be able to come back and play good golf soon.
  6. These are all great consideration. You may like Mizuno MP52 (prgressive offset, meaning less offset for higher irons) I used Callaway X-20 tour and like it better than x-20 as tour version has less offset. You need to spend enough time to test them to find one that works best for you. Let us know which one you'll end up with.
  7. I am glad to know you like Ping G10 hybrid. I purchased 15* and 18*, expecting tomorrow, and will find out which club will be replaced in my bag.
  8. Interesting to see how he will handle this part.
  9. This is funny....I used to have golf partners all smokers. They claim that help them less tense and better swing.
  10. +1. In my area, driving ranges are all grasses. At home I have a mat in my backyard just to maintain my practice swing rather than hitting off of it.
  11. Wish you the best!
  12. It doesn't matter whether either one or both on the club, but I need number. Different brand may have different loft, but once I know which number works for me for particular distance, that's all I need while I am on the course.
  13. I think S300 is in between two, in an order of 5.5, S300, 6.0, if S300 is heavy, try 5.5 or even 5.0. I have insisted on 6.0 (maybe ego thing), then learned that 5.5 works better for me, especially if you have a smooth swing tempo, I would stay with 5.5 or 5.
  14. I had a good experience with Ping and Cobra hybrids and would add to your list for demo.
  15. I am praying for you
  16. As long as spitting is not in my line, I would not care much.
  17. Wood for distance and hybrid for better control, but if you can rely on wood, you can't get distance either. I ordered 1H and will find out if this will replace my 3W.
  18. I am glad someone is using Carbite...mine is ZT from maybe more than 10 years.....still working good for me.
  19. For Callaway, I would buy directly from Callaway outlet: like-new is new (seems store displayed, but never used). Even average quality was in good condition with significant discuount. I check frequently for other brands there too. http://www.callawaygolfpreowned.com/
  20. I check sellers reputation based on feedback, but mainly buy directly from store and for Callaway from their on-line outlet. Main reason I support local store is they provide me to demo, so I'm willing to pay premium for that.
  21. Orange and blue is the color of U of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign, so not difficult to find there. Not sure elsewhere though.
  22. Good to know what you guy's reacting to it.....yes, as long as it's not for $ though.
  23. I happen to find out that there are many weekend golfers carrying more than 14 clubs....I feel pretty upset although I pretend that this is none of my businees. What's your reaction if you golf partner carrying 15+ clubs while you stick with 14?
  24. Yes, it seems like that.
  25. No need to match brand for driver and wood....more important to check what works best for you. For
