  1. The Del Mar looks similar but not exactly like the #9. IMO, the #9 has softer lines. Odyssey will be coming out with a non insert, milled Black Series line which includes the #9 sometime soon.
  2. definitely look legit. There isn't much of a market for counterfeit 755s anyway...
  3. I thought about it again last night, I think it might have been the shaft. I remember hitting a 909D3 with a Voodoo shaft and also hitting it extremely far. My D2 has the Diamana, I might have to switch it out for a Voodoo. Still very impressed with the ZL though!
  4. Hit this driver today on a launch monitor against my Titleist 909D2. I was blowing it by my 909D2 by 10-15 yards, consistently. The stock shaft was very good, giving me a high launch/low spin combo. It may have been the increased shaft length, but I was swinging about 5 mph faster with the ZL. To seal the deal, this club feels amazing, not the hollow, aluminum bat feel of previous Cobras (L5V, L4V). Anyone else impressed by this driver??
  5. Here's the link, you need a Golfwrx.com account to view: http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/index....ic=300382&st;=0
  6. Golfwrx.com has a few pictures. Don't think the Wasabis have come out yet...
  7. I love my setup, but this would be nice: Titleist 909D2 Titleist 909F2 - 13* Titleist 909H - 17* Scratch SB-1 - 3-PW Scratch 1018 - 52*, 58* Cameron 009
  8. Definitely eBay, very cheap. I love mine, it feels great, doesn't look too big, gets the ball up high.
  9. All great clubs of course. My 32s have lasted more than two years and they're still going strong.
  10. Not a big deal at all, after a few months, you don't even notice the scratches anymore.
  11. To answer my own question, I have yet to try Funk'd but I have an Iomic X-Grip on my driver. Awesome grip! Nice and has great texture, looks awesome (white w/ blue cap), very durable, and easy to clean.
  12. And next time read the original post before saying anything. I bought all .370 components - ferrule, clubhead, shaft. Since I started this topic, I've been informed many times that Rifle shafts are notoriously thicker than .370 which is why it didn't fit. Also, because the clubhead and ferrules were .370, as I noted in the first post, even if I had bought the wrong shaft (.355), it would still fit into the clubhead. This problem has been resolved, I sanded/filed down the shaft and everything fits now.
  13. I'll take Harvey up on the -5 strokes claim. I'm practicing my short game like crazy from now on.
  14. I'm in the mood to build a whole set of Snake Eyes right now! Gotta get some KBS Tours on Snake Eyes 675Bs.
  15. Geez, people always trying to convince me to play player's cavities. I rarely miss an iron shot, why should I switch?
  16. 155. Dynamic Golf R300. I don't care about distance, I care if I stick it next to the hole.
  17. Yea, I should probably get a caliper. I ended up filing down the shaft until it fit into the hosel and then forcing the ferrule to fit on the shaft. I think next time, I'll have to get a dremel with a grinding bit and grind down the shaft.
  18. Lol, that was bound to come up.
  19. I think it could be a quality control issue on either the wedge or the shaft not being the right size.
  20. It's not my gamer club so it isn't a big deal. The reason I bought all the components was to do it myself.
  21. Yea, I made sure that I had the .370. The clubheads are supposed to be .370, many people have assured me on that. Since the shaft doesn't fit, it must be bigger than .370 which doesn't exist.
  22. I read a great article on golfwrx.com. People seem to agree that the S300 performs like a 5.0 and that a S400 performs like a 5.5.
  23. I have a Rifle Spinner shaft. I want to put it in a wedge head which is definitely .370. I also have .370 ferrules. The shaft doesn't fit in either! I've been trying to file it down but to no avail. Any advice?
  24. Very nice! I'm always looking at pics on PT.
