You can keep on advocating for more acceptance of racist, homophobic, and steretypical rhetoric. I'll keep advocating for ALL OF US to be more culturally competent. Cool?

+1. The 'sesame chicken' comment is absolutely racist. It's basically the same thing Sergio said just aimed at a different ethnicity. Lastly, people need to understand how it comes across when they try to tell someone else how they SHOULD feel about any issue, but specifially when it comes to issues involving race. My father was forced to go to an all-black school. I wouldn't dare tell him how he should feel about racism in this country.

Oriental????? Wow. And you're likely too ignorant to even know better. It's a shame. Rugs can be oriental. Decor can be oriental. People are Asian.

"Seek the advice of a professional...that will tell you exactly what you want to hear." Sounds like a plan... -
Easy solution. Call Titleist and confirm the serial number. Done.

I'd be really interested to hear what people think. I'm a Vapor Black guy as well.

Pretty simple for me. My favorites courses are those that are in decent shape, yet they're still affordable. I think the same goes for 95% of all golfers.
-
I couldn't agree more. They all get the same treatment when the leader is in the final pairing. What else are they going to do? Show the other golfers sitting in the clubhouse. It's was same for Phil when he won from the final group in Phoenix and it was the same when Kevin Streelman won last week.

Yes. Just set the DVR from 10-5 or so. -
I'd go with the new Mizuno jpx825 or 825 Pros. But that's just me.

Good drivers for high handicap

I'd go with the Nike Sumo 5900. Great club that you should be able to find for pretty cheap. -
I think that is an oxymoron, but if you're looking for a forgiving game improvement club with more of a "blade design" you'll probably want to go with the Titleist AP1 or the Mizuno JPX 800/825 Pros. They're not going to be as forgiving as the regular JPX 800/825s or your Diablo Edges, but they will give you the look you want.

Last (Golf) Thing You Bought?

Check out the TPC course down there. If you liked the Plantation East you'll like TPC Myrtle Beach. -
Recommendations for push cart ??
ClayHbg replied to inthehole's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
160 rounds.....cart or no cart, that's AWESOME. I'll never purchase another Bag Boy cart because of my experience with my Mini GT (below) but it's hard to argue against 160 rounds. That being said, this thread has prodded me to buy a lightly used Clicgear on Craigslist. I'm looking forward to walking the course a lot more this fall. I enjoy my rounds more and usually shoot a lower score when I walk the course. -
what is the value of keeping your own stats?
ClayHbg replied to zcapozzi's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
The more you understand about your own golf game the lower you will score, and more consistently. When you can look at a simple chart and see why/when you most often post big scores then you'll more easily know how to avoid those situations. Most people think they know more about their game than they do. I've noticed that the key to my game is putting together two quality shots, back to back. For most people that is the key to making par, but just something small like that can really help people simplify the game in their own minds. -

EVERYONE needs to download the NikeGolf360 app. It's an amazing, free tool that helps you track your average score, fairways hit, GIRs, and putts per round. You load your holes via your smartphone on the course during the round and check out your stats/progress on the website when you're done. It's kinda like Facebook for golfers because you can connect with people you know and follow their rounds as well. I've logged about 12 rounds onto the website and every course I've ever played is available to track. I wish it also included a handicap calculator, but it doesn't. -
Recommendations for push cart ??
ClayHbg replied to inthehole's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
Get a Clicgear!!!! Everyone raves about them but I've heard great things about the Sun Mountain carts as well. Just don't get a Bagboy. The 'arm' on my Bagboy doesn't even support the weight of the golf bag so it collapses every time I need to make a turn. It's annoying as hell. You can pay a little less like I did ($100) and be pissed, or you can choose to pay a little more with no regrets. -
The Method 001 has been the only putter I've liked more than my SC Newport. I put it in my bag about a year ago along with a new set of irons. For me, it's the easiest putter I've ever used in terms of distance control. The alignment dot has taken some getting used to but, for me, distance control has always been my main issue. I can't say that I hole any more putts than I used to outside of 10 feet, but I have dramtically lowered my 3 putts per round overall putts per round. As a side note...the Nike360 app and website are amazing. You've got to check it out.

I see your point, but there really is no comparison. $100 million dollars twenty years from now will still be generational wealth. And remember, Tiger is only 36.

Can anybody give me more info on this tee?

Buy a complete set or build a set??
ClayHbg replied to SandyScrambler's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
Definitley start out with a set of irons. I can count on one finger the number of decent, amateur golfers I've seen who have a bag that matches entirely. You will find that you'll want/need different types of clubs (wedges, hybrids, FWs) to fill the different sorts of holes and discrepancies in your game. -
Interesting....well, I stand corrected.....but he's still wrong! haha.

I'm just an immature, uneducated American but I do know that the word you're looking for there is ISN'T, not aren't. I love when people try to insult the education of others they can't even do it without a grammatical error. I even agree with some of your points but the generalizations are too much for even me.
