Very cool film. I only started playing golf when I turned 25. It was very cool seeing young kids be so passionate about the sport, each of them seemed to enjoy it for the most part. Wonder how far anna kournikova's brother career will go in the future.

Yikes, some of these post are pretty discouraging. Really should have did my research before booking flights that early in March. Honestly figured it wouldn't be too bad, Guess I'm spoiled in Las Vegas. Played Stallion Mountain today with a short sleeve shirt on. Oh well, have to make the best of it I suppose. Hopefully its nice, but from the sound of things it may not be.

Whoops I'll be there March 8th through the 11th, then off to Dallas to visit family. Hope the weather is bearable that time of the year in CO. Thanks for the suggestions.

I'll be there for a short vacation to participate in the new law the good people of Colorado voted on last year and would like to get a few days of Golf in. I was wondering what are some of the "must play" courses when visiting CO. So far Arrowhead looks pretty cool, has anyone played it, would you recommend it ? Also, What other courses do you suggest I play ? Thank you. Hopefully in the 60.00 or less range for a round. Any good food spots I need to try too ?

Playing for a about a year and 3 months, score avg is around 99-105 now. My 3h-P are Adams a30s clubs, my SW and 60* are no namers. My driver is the Bridgestone J40. Driver- Avg is 200 yrds for the last few months, on a great shot (once a round) I'll hit it 230-239 3h-175 (never get a great shot with this thing) 4H 170 ( I love this club) 5H-160-165 6i - 150 ( Always pull this club to the left, really not sure why) 7i- 140+ ish 8i 135 club all day 9i 125 P 110-115 ( I've been getting more distance with this club, one of my favorites in the bag) SW 85 yards (huge gap from my sw and P ) 60* (really inconsistent with this shot if I had to guess maybe 35-50 yards) If I skull it to the moon aka someones house. putter- as far as I can throw it.

Update: The trip was awesome, I had a chance to play two other courses. Got to play G.C at The Resort on the 8th and Willow Springs Golf Club the day before I flew home. Cowbowys Golf Club was amazing. Perfect day, other than my game :( The greens seemed pretty quick but the fairways were fair. It was a great looking course. More importantly the staff was top notch, best I've seen. The club offers all inclusive non-alcholic beverages, Food from their restruant and whatever snacks you might need during your round on the cart. Also on the 7th and 12th hole there's a very hot girl grilling hot dogs and jalopeno sausauge to grub on during your round. The cart girl also gave us something called a Mango towel later in our round. It was hot and humid that day but the cloud cover was nice. If you're in the DFW area and want to spend less than 200 bucks on a great day of golf/food/ and service than I highly recommend Cowboys Golf Club. Here's a couple pics, I snapped on my crappy phone. par 3 Off one of the Tee Box's, Very cool hole. VIP Par-king! One from the Resort. Fun Course too.

Duly noted, maybe I'll leave my Leon Lett jersey at home too.

Sweet, Sounds like fun. I live in Vegas, so anything that doesn't look like a desert, I'm more than happy to try out. I've also Played Fossil Creek my last visit, I really enjoyed that course. Desmond, Can you recommend any more ? I was thinking of trying tour 18 or Golf Club at Champions Circle.

I'll be visiting family for my Birthday and decided to use my one free round of gold through the Golfnow rewards program. I couldn't pass up playing a $169 course for free Anyone ever happen to play at Dallas Cowboys Golf Club in Grapvine,TX ? If so, How did you like the course, the pictures look pretty cool.

thanks for the input. Pretty much gotta be low key about it and I should be ok. As far as eddibles is concerned for someone who isn't able to purchase them from a club, it makes it very expensive to make at home for the yield that is required. Also, If I ever do take some to the course it's my back 9 tradition. I just try not to be rude, so if it seems like it's going to be an issue I won't partake. Wish some of the cigar/cigg smokers had them courtesy, oh well.

shot a 107 today at Silverstone GC in 20-30 mph winds in L.V. 3 pars on the back nine was a personal best for me. Still trying to get a round in without putting down an 8. It was crazy trying to putt with the wind, never really thought it would be an issue until today.

...to smoke Marijuana in the state of Colorado or Washington while you're out golfing ? Planing on taking a vacation/golf trip to CO and am curious as to what the rules are. Thanks. If I'm playing with smokers in my group, I don't see what the issue would be other than the legality's of it all.

Revere Concord #18, Located in Las Vegas, NV. Playing the Lexington course on Sunday. -
shot 108 today @ Rhodes Ranch in Las Vegas :( 108 isn't too bad for me. It was my second time playing with the Adams A30S clubs. I'm liking them the more I play with them. Shaved about 7 strokes off my avg so far. currently using the HT superfast driver (12 degree, I think).way too much loft for me. Just purchased the Bridgestone J40 9.5 this evening for $80 in great condition, which means tomorrow will be a driving range session !

Welcome to the site. My mother moved to the DFW area and the last time I went to visit I played Fossil Creek twice and Iorn Horse once. Fossil Creek was a great course, give it a try if you haven't yet. I believe it's located in North Richland Hills. Good Luck with the new sticks.

Shadow Creek is hosting the event. Anybody know how I can get scores for this, also curious if anyone else is going. I'm going on Sunday. A dream match up would be Phelps Vs. M.J. Tickets cost $30 for Ga. If you want to play the course any day out of the week it's $500 and you must be staying at a MGM property (you get picked up in a Limo). With that said I'll never be able to play that course so the thirty bucks is cheap to take a tour of the track.

So what Fowler throws his clubs in the video? Do you realize how much longer that video would've been if he sat there and put the cover back on each club and insert it back into his bag. Sorry, Just seems like you're really reaching to dislike someone.

A ball hit my friends foot off the bounce from someones drive on a par 4. He didn't get upset, but the older couple who we got paired up with was pissed. The wife grabbed a tee from her bag and placed the ball on the tee. . It made it really awkward when the course was backed up and they were stacked up with us at the tee box.

I usually wear my black Lakers or Oakland A's baseball hat. I have a hard time buying a hat that has a golf company's logo plastered on it, yes i know that makes me a hypocrite, it's just that some golf hats look like NASCAR Jackets. Sometimes the logo's and branding can get out of hand, at some point you become walking billboards.

Allen Grant seeks rules relief at Badlands Golf Course
Lesterday replied to Lesterday's topic in Rules of Golf
Ok so I have the Badlands scorecard in my hands. The only local rule on the card is this "Local Desert Rules: If ball comes to rest in the desert, the player may drop a ball within two club lengths of nearest point of grass relief, no nearer the hole, with a one stroke penalty" hope that helps. :~(
