  1. I also have always found th text to be the best alignment aid, plus you dont have to take the extra time to dig through your bag when you go to use a dfferent ball
  2. I appreciate everyone's feedback, amd after doing some more reading of reviews i think i will buy a sleeve of the zips and the gamers and see which one works better for my game.
  3. I have read that the top-flite gamer is a pretty versitlie ball for its price ($20 dozen) good distance, and reasonble spin!
  4. Has anyone ever played this ball? From what I have read it has fairly good spin and reasonably soft feel for a pretty good price. If you have played it would you recommend it?
  5. I tried out the Ft-iQ on a launch monitor, and it had a pretty low launch angle, and that was with 10 deg of loft, and i was hitting an 8.5 before that and the 10 in the FT-iQ was lower than the 8.5 in my titleist.
  6. I just recentley bought a callaway Ft-i, and i find it to be quite straight and really forgiving, and i got a brand new one for half price because golftown was clearing out the 08 stock. Iam coming from a 983K, and i thought that i had learned to hit that thing pretty good over the years, but the FT-i was automatically easy to hit.
  7. I have just recently purchased a scotty cameron studio design 1, but the putter i was originally looking at was the circa 62 1, until i came across a slightly used studio design 1. Both putters look fairly identical to me, and i was just wondering if anyone knows of any major differance between the two, aside from the finish. Thanks.
  8. Another ball that is quite "spinny" which i don't see on your list is the HX tour 56. I found that is spins more than the pro v1, but that just might be me
  9. The FT-5 might get you a little more distance, but the FT-i is by far alot more forgiving and gets them out there straight...most of the time:). So if your looking for accuracy over distance, i would go with the FT-i.
  10. The head on it is black, if that's what you were refering to. I tested the FT-iQ before hitting the FT-i, but it was a little to pricey for me($549 plus tax), then he suggested the FT-i, which was on sale for half the price, and i actually hit it better, although the sound will take some getting use to. I have not had a chance to play it yet because i live in Canada, but believe me iam getting the itch big time
  11. I just purchased a callaway FT-i driver, even though i was kind of against the square headed drivers. The driver i've been hitting for the past four years was a Titliest 983K with the Fujikura Speeder 77g S shaft. So when i went to get fitted for a new driver, because i figured i had been robbimg myself of some technology, and boy was i right, the 983 really bombs them out there, but my misses tend to be off the toe, which robs me of alot of distance( like a loss of 30 yards) but with the misses on the ft-i i only lost about 10-15 yards. The one thing that i thought was weird is that he put me in a reg. flex 56g 586 speeder shaft. Do you think this is the right shaft? being such a drastic change
  12. I've tied Callaway and titleist gloves, but they are just not as durable as the FJ's.
  13. A 52 Deg. wedge, with a short back swing, then pinch that ball right against the clubface, then hope for a couple hops and a check.
  14. I finally got a chance to play a private club in my area. The Day started out not to bad, it was cold, but we've all played in cold weather. Then it started to rain, hard and the win picked up, man it was nasty but we stuck it out
  15. It's gotta be UCONNS year, they have been my team fot a long time, and I hope this year is the one
