  1. Usally use Tour Velvet's but need a couple of fairway woods re-gripped, what would you suggest as I fancy a change and noticed the Titleist generic tour velvets lasted no time.
  2. I got a Halo for $75 dollars brand new with a graphite shaft, excellent club
  3. Sergio Garcia
  4. With all sports injuries as it has been said there is some area that can deem it self inflicted.
  5. maybe that's what I'm trying to say.
  6. In my opinion Scott versus Garcia is a no contest, the only thing they have in common is that they don't have a major. Garcia is 10 times the player Scott is. Scott gets into so many good positions after 3 rounds then just folds. I like him but just do think he's a run of the mill golfer who has benefitted in the Tiger era of massive prize money for top ten finishes more than actually winning events.
  7. Closing an event is never easy. Kaymer will mature and be able to do that in due course. Look at veterans like Cink who have a terrible record in closing out the win.
  8. Kaymer and Kim have both won twice this season, I can honestly say Immelman does not ever look like he is a 2 win a season (on a regular basis)golfer. Kaymer and Kim do not live in fear of Woods as much as Immelman and Co.
  9. aye, he nailed it and it caught a gust of wind also. freak incident.
  10. Really disappointing season so far.
  11. Martin Kaymer's mother died of cancer yesterday. I wish him all the best and hope this doesn't effect his future, and he can use it to spur him on like Rose and Woods have done previously. I'm sure it will effect him over the remainder of this season though. I like the look of Fisher, he was unlucky to loose that play-off to Levet but he did blow it on the 72nd hole.
  12. Garcia or Ogilvy for the Open. Phil for the USPGA
  13. Could this be the great rivalry the golf world is crying out for? I'd love to see them go head to head. The Ryder Cup could be the place.
  14. Be nice to see Paul hold out to win. Karlson and Jimenez are so consistant.
  15. Iomic X-evolution is what I've got on order from Japan. Will report when I get them
  16. I got the Ping Tour W 54 and 60 wedges at the weekend as a present. Really like the look of them so far, maybe a little lighter than I am used to, but I'm sure they will do the business. My best mate has the new Callaway Forged with Mac-dady grooves and I really like them also.
  17. Thank you so much altony. That is excellent. I think I will go for a halo as I can get it new for £40 which is about $80 new.
  18. Muirfield or Archerfield
  19. Going to buy one for a present for a 15 handicap. What is better? The HALO SEEMS TO GET GREAT REVIEWS AND IS A GREAT PRICE.
  20. The Burner is built for power and that is it, you can't shape the ball with it and it's not very forgiving. That's only my opinion though.
  21. There is a Scottish girl called Carly Booth who is playing in the Curtis Cup, I think she is maybe 16 or 17 years old, when she is the same age as Creamer etc she will get even more press, she is a beautiful looking girl.
  22. Coverage on BBC is improving but still awful imo in the UK. Sky coverage when they have their own cameras AND host broadcaster cameras is where it is at. The WGC events and Ryder Cup.
  23. get as stiff as possible for control.
