  1. It's the Vida Loca!
  2. For us... yes. I can hit a 3i but a hybrid is much easier to hit, and very versatile. The longest iron I carry is a 5!
  3. At least he's in good company... every time Tiger comes on tv my wife calls him a cheater too!
  4. Start from scratch... go to a fitter and have a work up. Results will be better than before...
  5. I might do this also... I find gripping down gives me a better lie angle and shaft plane. Can't hurt if I hit it more consistently!
  6. Lose distance.. so I do it all the time. Or you can be more aggressive and try to flight the ball higher or lower...
  7. Brian? IBTL...
  8. Thanks for the update! You got a good price for it... the BIN OBO is always a safe way to go!
  9. So carry 3 woods, D-3-5... Irons 3-PW 2 wedges and a putter Eventually you'll swap out 5w and long irons for hybrids...
  10. I think I got one of those at an Olympic themed Bar Mitzvah in 88'!
  11. Strange... never seen that before. Sucks for people doing value estimates! I'm soooo curious!
  12. Soooo? I see it ended with a best offer... Not sure why they hide it!
  13. Every club you carry should have an associated distance with it... Driver - 250 3W - 225 3h - 200 4i - 190 5i - 180 6i - 170 7i - 160 8i - 150 9i - 140 PW - 125 GW - 100 SW 75 Something like that...
  14. Great read! What about the guy who takes 12" divots and does nothing to repair them... never fixes a ball mark or rakes a bunker!
  15. Serious buyers know the actual value... so $3500 was a good BINOBO strategy. Any higher and you seem like you don't know... I'd take the first 3k offer and be excited. The fact that is says 2nd Swing on it detracts from the value since there is no mystery or mystique about origin etc.
  16. I hate my X-22's... when I hit single digit they're getting replaced by X-22 tours...
  17. Breaking 100 is a good thing always...
  18. I love my 64, but it may get sidelined this year in favor of a 3 wood. The huge benefit is the ability to hit consistent towering shots from light to mid rough, without having to open up wide and hero shot it. That said... It's used a few shots a round if at all... so only if there's room in the bag!
  19. Irons tend to last me about 5 years or so. I get new irons when mine look old compared to what is out. However my next set is going to be determined by handicap... When I hit single digit... new irons. You can get current clubs fit to length loft and lie pretty inexpensively... Just get new grips and they'll feel like new irons.
  20. That is one heck of a cover your arse eBay tutorial... will have to take notes later!
  21. There are rules for newbies selling stuff on TCC. Your best bet is actually eBay. The last few sold between 2-3k... The last one close to 3. Extremely limited market, eBay gets way more eyes...
  22. I checked... About 3k if you find the right buyer.
  23. My wedges are 46-52-58-64... Great combo since you end up with a weak gap and sand wedges... Plus the x wedge. However... I think I'm dropping the 64 unless the course doesn't require my longest hybrid. Man I wish it was 15 clubs!
  24. Sounds about right. Chances are the guys who pay big coin collections are sending their stuff to the CS for modifications. So it'd be more of a collectors show piece than a shop tool. What ballpark we talkin?
