  1. get a stand bag (ping hoofer), you just have to pull out your long woods out of the bag to fit in your trunk. i have the same problem too.
  2. unfortunately you won't get much money for that. I would say maybe $200 for it all. It is only worth the amount someone is willing to pay for it. those are really really really old clubs. this would be a starter set for someone that doesn't want to pay to much for a set. good luck in selling it, i hope you get lots of money for it, but the factor or the matter is that not to many want your clubs unless they can get it for a steal.
  3. if your not walking with it on the course, you don't need a stand bag. you will get more benefit from a cart bag. for the range, they have stands to put your bag. it is useless for you to have a stand bag if your don't carry it on the course. But out of those 2 i would go with Ping hoofer every time. that was my team golf bag in high school and college. nothing beats it, definitely my stand bag of choice for life.
  4. stick with the 9.5 I'm not a big fan of callaway, but before you purchase that, try out r11s which is on sale now and you can adjust it to your liking.
  5. if you want blades or tour irons, try the mizuno mp's or titleist ap2
  6. no grip = spraying shots all over the course. I switched to Nike TW shoes, they are super expensive, but I won't use anything else. these things are like suction cups on the golf course. Greatest shoes i have owned. i still have multiple shoes that i wear to match my outfits, but I prefer the nike TW shoes over anything. I own adidas 360, puma cell fusion, foot joy xps, etc...
  7. buying balls like that and asking makes me question your true handicap. To bad you could go ahead and put zero to make yourself feel better. your not a true 5 handicap. anyways, on chips they don't check up. on a full swing of a short iron i can back these up. I used these as garbage practice balls when I haven't played in a long time. I don't want to lose my tour balls right away.
  8. all these stand bags are similiar in weight. the difference would be in ounces. if that is a concern, i suggest you hit the gym :)
  9. no, it wouldn't be a drastic difference. save that money for another round of golf :)
  10. go get custom fitted first and see how you do on the launch monitor. i keep the standard lofts and just lag my swing.
  11. you can also add weight stickers to the back or bottom of your clubs to increase the weight. before purchasing any club i suggest you hit it on the range or in the store. at that point you might be surprised on a club that you weren't thinking of purchasing out performing your choices.
  12. no need to cut the club, just choke down. also create more lag to hit more distance and not balloon the ball, and vice versa to decrease distance.
  13. the driver is draw biased, the tour version is fade biased. turning your club in slightly will give you the same effect, but doesn't replace fixing your swing. try not to swing as hard and keep your head down. this will assist in hitting it straight. then increase swing speed when you can consistently hit it straight.
  14. shot a 72, pretty erratic golfing today, but haven't played in about 3 weeks now. 5 birdies, 3 bogeys, and 1 double bogey. with all the up and downs in my score i break even. once i start playing consistently i will reduce or climate those bogeys. All puts in is the only way i play. even if it is a gimme, I'm still putting it.
  15. yes, great club. adams is pretty much the standard for hybrids imo. it gets the ball up fast and very forgiving.
  16. those aren't bad, but i find ping to be easiest clubs to start with.
  17. i would go with forged blades if you can shape your shots on demand. if not, go with a forged cavity back. one this is certain, you need new irons :) I suggest you hit the clubs at the range at your course or at the store. You do have a lot of great options. try mizuno or titleist.
  18. it is only worth what people are willing to pay for it. I don't know anyone that uses anything similar to that. people will pay for scotty putters, but maybe a collector might give you some money for it.
  19. looks like your a taylormade fanboy. the wedge isn't bad, but no were close to vokey or cleveland. try those 2 before you go with the atv wedge.
  20. there is no difference, i find a white ball easy to see, but yellow and green balls hard to see, especially in the rough
  21. i think she is good with ladies flex. do go to golfsmith and hit on the machine to see her swing speed, they always leave the machine on when i go.
  22. i use the slim superstroke and it has improved my putting greatly. it reduces the pressure and keeps you more relaxed when holding the putter. helps seperate the feel of your other grips from your irons and woods. i will never use anything else for my scotty putter.
  23. it has been 5 years now since your last set of irons. I would try other brands since a lot has changed since then. taylormade is a good brand, but there might be something else out there that might surprise you. try out some forged clubs and tell me what you think.
  24. you can find the r11s now for 199. you can adjust the loft and you can go neutral, draw, or fade. one club that does it all.
  25. I'm a pretty good golfer, I don't count to high when i golf so it is easy remember
