  2. I'm in . . . (insert mad scientist laugh here)!
  3. I have traveled with my clubs a lot and tried a couple of different options. Currently I use the Caddy Daddy Co-Pilot and it works well. The bag is light with a hard top to protect the clubheads. The only gripe with TSA is they left one of the pockets unzipped once and a few balls escaped.
  4. I dig the matte finish
  5. Maybe I missed it but I couldn't find a thread on this topic. I am currently using GolfLogix for the iPhone 5 and love the app. But my wife wants to get me something for Father's Day so I thought about giving one of the GPS watches a try. Any thoughts out there . . . Garmin, SkyCaddie?
  6. The smell of cut grass and being outside Spending time with friends or being alone The Challenge of a new course or a new skill learned Being able to work on my game on my own and most anywhere I can swing/putt (an actual club or mythical) Seeing your hard work pay off Bombing a drive off the tee, nailing an approach, running in a long putt A beer on the course is very refreshing And most that know me would laugh but I actually like getting up for an early tee time. Normally, if I am up early I haven't been to bed (or at least that was me before my daughter was born). There is just something about getting up in the morning and getting out there on a course.
  7. University of Dayton Flyers!
  8. I'm not qualified to give anyone advice. Plus if I am trying to take your money on the course why would I try to help you. Not a fan of that guy.
  9. Today I could use a good walk spoiled or not.
  10. I was pulling for Lefty but happy for the kid.
  11. That does seem a bit ridiculous. "Stay out of Malibu, deadbeat!"
  12. I'm not a Tebow hater, in fact I think what he did with Denver was amazing. If I were an executive for an NFL bottom feeder I would give him a chance even if it was just to sell tickets. Back to my point . . . there is no comparison between Tebow and Manning or what they accomplished in the Mile High City. If the Denver defensive backs understood rule #1 of their job on the field the Broncos would had NE the next week for the AFC Championship and likely would have won.
  13. Even if they are "blowing up" the greens and replacing them with Bermuda why are they in such horrible shape?
  14. I really enjoy this book. As someone pointed out in a previous post not every lesson is fit for all golfers but the vignettes are easy to follow.
  15. Just getting started on my list of courses I would "like to play" but my favorite so far is City Park Golf Course in Denver. The view of the Denver skyline with the front range looming in the background is an amazing perspective.
