I just got MP33 off of ebay and they came with the same shafts. i prevously had taylormade lt2 with dg s300. the 6.5 play fairly stiffer than the s300. i hit them today and they seemed to have a slightly lower penetrating ball flight and less shot disperson because of the stiffness. i didn't realy notice much distance loss maybe 5 yards whuch i am fine with. a pretty sold shaft imo.

No way you hit a 6 iron 225 yards. That be a bit ridiculous. Anyways, it sounds like you can def go with the x100. I just got some MP33 with Rifle 6.5 which should play really stiff. I currently play S300 and will hit the MP33 tomorrow. I will let you know what play a really stiff shaft does to my distance and trajectory.

i am a member at penn oaks and you can't beat their price for the quality of the golf course. a lot has changed over the past couple years. they completely restaffed with acquiring harry hammond and john cooper. the golf course is in the best shape its ever been. concord is a nicer course but ALOT more expensive. for the money, penn oaks can't be beat.

i just bought a used set off of ebay for 150 with rifle 6.5s as well. i currently play the dynamic gold s300. are you finding the 6.5 to be too stiff?

You can use them in tournaments. They are USGA conforming.

I have been playing Taylormade LT2 irons for the past three years and I enjoy them. I am currently a 3.8 handicap, been as low as a 2.1 (last summer), and I am thinking about purchasing a set of MP33's off of ebay as I have been interesting in hitting a blade rather than cavity back. I pride myself in my ball striking abilities and I love working the ball. So, I feel like the LT's are holding me back with the offset. So here is the question(s). Do you guys think it is worth it to buy a used set of MP33 off of ebay for around $280? Bargain or not? And how much difference will I notice between the LT's and MP33's? Also, how long will a set of irons last before you will notice an effect on the playability? Thanks for any input!

In a high school match last year, first hole, 240 yard par 4, a kid I was playing with holed it with a five iron. Pretty neat stuff.

Broad run is an awesome course with a very interesting layout. wyncote is also an excellent links style course.

I am started to get real annoyed with ESPNs coverage. We have seen like no golf shots and a bunch of random stories and commentary. We didnt even get to see Mickelsons birdie putt. Now they are talking about putters. Sighhh.

i think i figured it out. it is only 65 grams so im swinging it a lot faster making it more like a regular shaft. make sense?

with a driver around 100 ~ 105 plus i have a stiff adila proto by you shaft in it, the blue one, and all of my irons are stiff as well and hit all of them with no problems. Thats why I didnt think it is the stiffness?

I have a 15 degree Cleveland Hibore with a Graffaloy Prolaunch Blue 85S (STIFF). I am having a lot of trouble hitting this cub straight. All of my other clubs which are stiff have a nice ball flight and is straight with a slight draw. But when I pull out this cub and i hit a very low hook. When its hit good, it is still a pull. I hold off my release and it still will not go straight Now i am have a feeling it is the shaft. Do you guys think it could hve something to do with the shaft? maybe the kickpoint or weight? Please help!!!

I went with the TM Spider, I tried a lot, including the black series, odysseys, yes putters, and the Rife 2 bar hybrid which came in 2nd place on my list. I just loved the Spider and the look of it (yes, a shocker, i know). Thanks for all the help.
