  1. just because its forged dosent mean it is harder to hit. I think that the forged wedges will have similar performance to the cast. Maybe they will have a little less spin because they do not have the milled faces. I have the 8620 in 53* and 56* and they put a lot of spin on the ball.
  2. I have owned and played 845 silver scots for the last 5 years. I like them alot and they have been really good for me. They are game improvement irons that alot of low handicappers played similar to the ping eye 2's. They actually have a good amount of wins on tour too from back in the early 90's. I love my tommy armours, but they are finally starting to look their age and they have knicks and dings everywhere so they will probably be replaced by christmas. I would reccomend tommy armours to anyone, especially beginners who are looking for a cheaper set of beginner clubs.
  3. Bumping this to let everyone know that the new round just started, so Its not to late to enter. Also, I am at 25th and could really use some votes to get into the top 20. thanks!
  4. I went ahead and voted for you. Remember guys, you can vote for everyone once a day. Keep voting for me and I will keep voting for you. Anyone else want in on the action?
  5. I voted for you. If anyone else wants a vote, let me know.
  6. Just wanted everyone to know that adams is having a contest where you can enter and people vote for you and the top 10 will get a set of the new a7 irons and 11th though 20th place will get a hybrid. Here is the link to my profile, which leads to the site for people to join. If you guys vote for me, then I will vote for you as a way to show some sand trap love and support each other.
  7. yeah I broke my putter and driver today. The driver hitting a drive and the putter when I dropped it on the fringe. Worst golfing day ever.
  8. I was back playing golf in 2 monthes, back to contact sports in 6 monthes. It has been 18 monthes since my surgery and my knee feels no different now from the way the pre-op knee felt. I rehabed as much as possible and pushed my limits as much as the doctors would allow so I was able to recover fairly quickly.
  9. correct. only putters can have a single piece grip with a flat surface.
  10. I had left over brats and burgers for dinner tonight.

my only advice would be to not blow that 500 they send you every month. I had a really good paying job in highschool and all I have to show for it are video games, shoes and a bunch of other crap that has no value.
  12. I use it as long as there is not a cut in the cover. I use balls with scuffs and they dont seem to affect the playability at all. I usually lose a ball or 2 every 3 or 4 rounds, so they usually dont get to bad, but I have had a few balls that lasted 5-6+ rounds and they looked awful, but played fine.
  13. I had one, but found that I was more focused on hiding the red dot as opposed to putting a good roll on the ball. I actually got in the habit of looking at the putter head throughout my stroke, which reaked havoc on my already struggling putter game.
  14. People who yell get in the hole at their own ball.
  15. Kim Jong Il shot 38 under his first time ever playing golf. Now that is impressive...
