Only time will tell. He was very impressive this week but we will see how dominate and consistent he is in the up coming months. Remember how Bubba was suppose to be the next big thing but never pan out.

I have a friend that knows a caddie that spent a few rounds with Mickelson and the way he treated people is terrible. On the camera he is great but off the camera he is not that nice.

Hi All, So it is that time again and if you look at the trend of past Masters the course is getting longer and longer. Well, once they run out of property what would they do to make it more challenging for the golfers? I am temtped to say that they would make it look more like the Opens (with the dry greens and tall rough) but I would dare say that they will redesign some of the holes to make it more difficult (with more bunkers or more trees). What do you think?

Yes Jack is the best of his time and Tiger's is at his so we are living in Tiger's time and that means he is the best right now. Down the line someone will be even better but as for the greatest that is really hard to say. If needed I would say Tiger because if you look at the current competition that Tigers has now not only with the fellow pros but the lenght of the golf courses. So Tiger it is :)

I am sure you all have beat this to death but...Why would anyone want a ball that goes further on missed hit? So if I hit a slice or hook the ball will go further in the rough or other fairways? Seems like Taylormade marketing is a bit off. http://www.golfmagic.com/news/article/mps/uan/5442 I will stick to my Pro-V

Anything that can get me under par every round...wait that is a dream swing

This is shameful to even bring this up inthis forum but someone has to do it :) http://www.swinglessgolf.com/index.asp Kinda cool concepts but that would just be aweful to pull that out of the bag on the first tee :P Ok I'm gonna get one I think I can get this for my wife so that she can spend a day out there with me without me going nuts because of slow play. Let the comments began!!

Yes being the devil advocate here :) But if I was a startup and can create a product(s) that will improve the aspect of golf then I would do it for profit or for technologies sake. C'mon you are telling me that if there is a club out there that can allow you to hit 400 yards drive with the same swing you have now that people would not buy it??? I am sure I will atleast give it a good wack or two, or three :P

Very Well Put!! Think about this -- Even if the new courses will be 8000-9000 yards what about the old one and especially Augusta or Pebble Beach? I am with you that I hope they don't come out with technologies that is too advance and you will loose the true spirit of Golf. Thanks for sharing!

Hey everyone, Don't know if this has been talked about but here is my take. Can you imagining driving the ball 400 yards 5 years from now? or having a club that will put you next to the flag or a laser putter to read the greens and to put it in the cup from 30ft away? I sure can't because it takes away the game of golf. I guess I am just curious to see what the future holds for golf and how these golf company will market themself differently. It seems that we have hit a peak or is reaching the peak of technologies in the golf industry as I can forsee what sort of technologies that can improve any more on the basic equipment we take to the course. I am very eager to see what new technologies are out there in the next 10 years What are your thoughts on the future of golf?

Scratch Golf is very very nice. I have 52 56 and 58 and I am saving them for special rounds :) I read the review on Sand Trap and had to get it and I am very very happy. So if you want to try something different get the Scratch golf or else the Spin Milled will do just fine. -
Hybrid, Fairway Wood, or Long Iron ?
under_par replied to ScottySnapps's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
This would work for me as well. Although I would baby it in but still a Great call with the 5 wood!!! -
I have played many sets these past 2 years and I do agree with most folks that the blades has a better feel and the cavity has better control. \ If you have consistant ball striking you don't really care which one because you can hit them all. I am not at that level yet but I do love the blade feel so why not get both :) I think the MP-67 is a good choice to the betweeners No matter what you choose to play with, just get the ball on the green in regulation is the MO.
-
I have tried using the mallet after a couple of years using the blade and it was hard to control the speed. I love my blade but trying to adjust to the mallet :) but so far the blade is my choice.

I have tried the 64* and I don't think there is much of a use for it unless you constantly hit fairways because the 64* is terrible in the rough or the frindge. The rough you have to wack at it with Superman speed to get some results and the frindge you must lit is crisp to land softly. I agree that a 58* is more than enough for anyone.

I think she is hotter now then before. Seeing her broadcasting at Doral just made me stand behind my call

My story: About 2 months ago I was out with a buddy and decided to try his reg flex TM driver and did I ever crushed it. I have always played with a Stiff and I do notice the ball is lower flight about 65% of the time. With the Regular I get distance and height. I quickly switch the flex and I am loving my driver now As for my Irons I keep it at a stiff and all is working great. Since we are not pros and don't pratice like them I would recommend that you get the reg if you are on the border. It worked for me.

The new Irons of my life...Nakashima!!!
under_par replied to under_par's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
Yup, those guys are in Stockton. Wonder if we can just go up there and try out the clubs Shigeki, try searching in the forum for the black gold because one member already did a test and did not like the black gold. BTW going back to my many sets discussion My feeling is you can't really get a good sense of the club when you test them on the mat in a store or even a quick test at the driving range. It's like marrying a girl on the first date -

I agree with everyone that it is the Indian and not the arrow...but aren't you guys curious on how each irons feels? I've taken lessons and it works out great. If I can drive a sport car for 3 weeks and change to another sport car...then why not!!! Here is another perspective. If you guys are single and wanted to get marry wouldn't you want to date a bunch of people before you settle down??? Life is too short not to try them all -

Also I went ahead and got the 52, 56, 60 wedges as well. Can't wait to see how that stack up against my CG10 black pearl. Check out the Nakashima site: http://www.nakashimagolf.com/ -
Well I have owned and tried over 30 sets of irons (I start lossing track after 25) and I think I have found the Best irons I have every played(for me at least). I played 9 holes with a buddy's Nakashima Np-1 3-PW and I instantly fell in love!!!! These are softer and easier to control than the X-tour and MP-32. I'm sure there are folks out there that would disagree but you have to try these irons and see for yourself. I can only draw from my personal (expensive )experience. Anyway I just got my set in this morning with DG SL S300 shaft and can not wait to swing these puppies. I will report back with more info if anyone is interested.

Shafts for Drivers and fairway woods?
under_par replied to nautyyboyy's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I like the Adila 65S driver. It is a bit heavier than some so that should help straighten out your drive. Also try the Speeder 757. Have fun shopping!!
