I went from a regular flex 10.5 to a stiff flex 9. I have been hitting the ball much better since I made the change.

After my round of golf yesterday I meant to post this. After nine holes with my buddy we went to a local Irish pub where they have a ton of beers on tap. We were fortunate enough to have Zombie Dust by 3 Floyds. I'm wondering if a few of you have had the chance to try this semi-rare beer. Probably one of the best I've ever had.

Starting to play golf...on a budget!

I'm not sure if you've tried this, but call the courses near your area and see if they offer a student discount. I golf a par 3 course and it's $6 after 6 Monday-Friday, perfect for my budget. -
I shot a 44 on 9 holes, par was 29 though. I should have been at least 5 strokes better. I rushed myself because another golfer was behind me. Need to stop worrying so much about it. Can definitely see an improvement in my game. Last week I played two rounds and got 2 pars. Today I had 3. We'll see how Wednesday goes.

Just ordered a putter from them this morning. My roommate has ordered a driver and was happy with his experience. ALSO: If you are ordering from them check their store on ebay. I did that and realized the putter was $10 cheaper on ebay than on their website.

I could care less for his decision at this point. He's a damn good player, I just wish the flopping with him, Bosh, Chalmers, and everyone else on the roster would stop.

I usually play 2-3 rounds of golf a week. If it's not crowded I'll take 2-3 attempts on a ball after my drive. So I find it great for short game. Usually the other two I actually play. So 33.3% practice and 66.6% play. I usually hit the practice green after if there still day light when I'm done.

Yeah, for the dollar wells i go with the domestic bottles for my first few drinks so it's not as bad tasting whiskey the rest of the night.

Evan for $10? I like it more than Old Crow and Calvert. Red Stag I enjoy that usually runs $18 or so but I'm sure I could possibly find better. Any recommendations?

Being on a college budget I'm normally not drinking anything near top shelf. Tuesday's and Thursday's are dollar wells and domestic bottles so I'm usually out at least 2 nights a week. But when I'm buying from the store I try to get Red Stag Black Cherry. But if I have to I settle for a fifth of Evan.

As a new golfer I will say that I did not know what a ball mark was when I walked onto a course. I think it's a pretty good idea, hell even having a sign on the door showing a picture of one and how to fix it would probably have some greens looking much better.

Hello, I've been following the forums for a few days now and decided to join. I have just started golfing this year, and i feel as if I'm addicted. I enjoy just playing the game and seeing myself improve each time I go out. I'm currently a senior at Indiana State majoring in public relations.
