  1. I've gamed the e6+ for a month or so. I found it straighter of the tee no doubt. However, that is the extent of the ball I found good. Approach shots from 170+ yards are hard to hold a green, and chipping and putting felt a bit inconsistent. Durability isnt good at all. I had wedge teeth marks all over the ball after 4-5 holes. I use it when greens are soft and fairways are narrow. Dont get me wrong, I'm an avid Bridgestone 330 user. I find it the best among all my gaming needs along with the ProV1x. .02
  2. I'm mixing it up as well. I use a Ping driver, Ben Hogan hybrid, Taylormade irons, Titleist wedges, and an Oddesy putter. I dont have any regrets on the different brand names.
  3. i been using a skycaddie sg5 for the last 3 rounds. its great. i only got that model cuz i got great deal on it on ebay for $300. its really easy to use. jus got to read up on some of the finer functions. i recommend to it to any golfer wanting to know yardages and more.
  4. i use both the 330 and 330s. they are, as stated by a previous poster, very high quality balls for the price u pay. they are compared to the prov1. that being said is good enough for me. try'em out and see for yourself. i have gone through 25 holes with one once. that was before i got the vokey spin milled wedges. they are now being eaten up. i probably use a new ball every 18 holes if i dont lose any during a round.
  5. Some realistic goals for 2008: Putting - Improve on my putting avg. of 1.89 to around 1.7 to 1.81 GiRs - Improve GiRs from 29% to around 36-40% Driving - Improve Fairways Hit from 40% to around 55% Commit - commit to every shot/putt (Visualize every shot) Discapline - Clean club after every shot taken, Try not to use vulgar language after a errand shot. Score - Shoot a round in the 70s (Have a shot a 78 recently, but dont consider it real as the tee boxes were temporaily moved forward) These are what I think are real goals for me. I'm hoping to achieve them by years end.
  6. this is a great thread. thanks to the original poster and the experienced advice.
  7. I just got myself a Ping G10 Draw w/ a Graffaloy Prolaunch Red -Stiff shaft. I came from a Callaway FT-I draw also had the same shaft. Boy, what a huge difference! The Ping out-performs my FT-I in all categories. Mostly distance. Granted ive only hit the ping for 2 rounds, but have hit 3 300+ drives and a number of 280+ in the 2 rounds. I can shape shots more easily with the ping vs. the ft-i too. I'm very happy with the purchase and plan on enjoying seeing the ball fly!
  8. i use a ben hogan hybrid 3h. its about 5yrs old, but plays well
  9. i bought taylormade r7 tp irons.
  10. Ive used both...the vokeys feel much better in my style of play. they are great from any lie. the control is amazing. and yes, watchout for soft balls to be eaten up on full shots.
  11. i went from the cleveland 588 gunmetal to the vokey tour chrome finish. i gotta say its looks good and the glare isnt as bad. love the spin milled wedges!
  12. depending on conditions either a 5i or a hybrid.
