  1. Not sure of the exact model ... but Fred Couples is sponsored by Ecco.
  2. You might want to consider a hybrid instead of a fairway wood. You seem partial to Ping ... they have a G15 5-hybrid that is 27* or a 6-hybrid that is 31*. Why don't you take some swings with them and see what you think.
  3. See my signature. I have room for 2 more clubs, my PW is 44* and my SW is 54* so I'm thinking of getting a 50* wedge and then either a 58* wedge or a 2-hybrid.
  4. I used the Precept Laddie X all last year and I found it amazing. I'm a fairly new golfer, 93 mph swing speed. I've tried other balls: Noodle+, Bridgestone e6, Callaway Warbird, TopFlite 5000XL and I finally found the Laddie X. It gave me what the other balls didn't ... confidence. I find I am more consistent with the Precept. I would previously hit my drives 225-230 yards ... but all over the place. With the Laddie X I am closer to 240 and I find the fairway more often. Perhaps, as I improve, become more consistent and rely more on feel I will find these balls lacking. But in the mean time I think they're a great value for a beginner who needs a good ball.
  5. $10.50 for 105 balls.
  6. I tried out the A3OS hybrid fairway 15* last week at my local Golf Town. I wasn't that impressed by it. I was only hitting it as far as the Adams 3-hybrid 19*. I was comparing it to the Cleveland HiBore XLS 3-wood which I was able to hit more consistantly and 20-25 yards further.
  7. Adams A3OS 3h 19*. Love it, I hit it straight as an arrow and I get it 20 yards further than my previous hybrid.
  8. 1. Tiger 2. Weir (I'm Canadian) 3. Sergio 4. Ames (see #2) 5. Rose/Villegas/Boo/Poulter
  9. If I can roll up ... my 3-hybrid usually carries ~190 with roll to 200. Else, a 90% 5-wood will drop around 200.
  10. Get handicap down to 15. Break 80. Have 1 round with less than 30 putts. Get my first eagle.
