  2. Looks like Robert Allenby is up to his old tricks. Arrested outside an Illinois casino. The man needs to quit the booze. http://www.espn.com/golf/story/_/id/17300833/robert-allenby-arrested-casino-missed-cut-john-deere-classic
  3. Phil Mickelson ...it was Tigers world but he succeeded in it.
  4. ...and Tiger eagles 15 to tie the lead.
  5. I can see it now...Rory limping down the 18th with a broken le...umm ruptured ligament on Sunday with a chance to pull off the improbable victory.
  6. Yep looks like he's going to give it a go. http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/golf/report-mcilroy-to-play-pga-championship-practice-round/ar-BBlmWh9
  7. He finished at +8 for the day to drop to the bottom of the leader board. I'm glad Ben hung in there and shot -2 for the day playing with him. I think it would be rough having to play along with someone struggling that badly.
  8. Don't see Johnson parring 18. Either a playoff or a fantastic eagle for the win.
  9. WOW That was pure nerves..
  10. 3 up with 2 to go... not bad odds from here.
  11. Lol at the people circling the OB ball....
  12. Yep.... Grace hits it to the tracks on 16.....Spieth looking better now for the win.
  13. I'm a little curious to know of Chambers Bay had the bluegrass infestation at the time they chose it for the open. Then I might think that the USGA could deserve a little criticism. About the only way to get rid of that weed once it's entrenched is to tear up the greens and start over. Which isn't going to happen on a muni course like CB.
  14. 13th green actually looks to be in good shape.
  15. Nice first post. That's what it is, the poa grows in these conditions and the fescue stays dormant. This is what you get in the NW this time of year.
  16. Delusions of grandeur.....He thinks he's Tiger Woods. Yeah, this a first in his career for him. I don't yet know what happened, but he lost his game and it escalated incredibly. He missed 3 fairways and 3 greens in his first 2 rounds and tripled that that in one round Saturday. He didn't respond to adversity like a seasoned pro and let it escalate. On this course when you give up, it will continue to punish you until you escape the 18th. I feel bad for him.
  17. What is that bunker/barn looking building off the tee at 18? This course has some beautiful vistas but that thing is a blight to the landscape.
  18. Wow Louie..Louie.. whoa baby.
  19. Spieth could be leading this thing solo at the end of the day as tough as 17 and 18 are playing. .....maybe not as Reed pulls off the hero shot at 16.
  20. Not here and I'm not sure why. Just something about how he carries himself. I have an 83 yr old uncle who's never played golf and only follows it now because of Ben and he asked me the other day if I liked that Patrick Reed guy. I said no and he said "I can't stand him". This is coming from one of the nicest men I've ever known. There's just something about the guy that turns people off.
  21. Looks like the cut may drop to +4. Lots of players on the course at +3 right now and only 3 players need to drop one halfway the the afternoon session.
  22. Endlessly. Half the time all I see is a screen full of brown grass being panned across by the camera. Sometimes I think the cameraman is hunting it too.
