  1. Something I thought about at first, but I looked up their number on their website, same one that was on my promotianal offer, and I have talked to a few different people there now. The telemarketing I can believe, I guess if it gets really bad after I get the club, I will call and change my number with them or something.
  2. Anybody here using one? Or any Warrior clubs? Like/dislike? I got some deal in the mail to get a free (well....I pay for shipping) Warrior hybrid, and since I currently have none in my bag, I figured why not. After calling the number and giving him my promotion code, I figured out why it was free, since he tried selling me a billion combination of clubs other than the free Hybrid (anybody ever try to quit you free trial of AOL back in the day? Where they would offer you everything under the sun? Felt sort of like that) but I finally got him to just do the free Hybrid. Should be here in 2-3 weeks, I hope.
  3. Look! Pros order from TGW.com just like us!
  4. As long as your drive a mostly stock car (not lowered, lifted, crazy paint job etc.) and dont limo the the front door windows, you will never get pulled over for window tint. My experience anyway. Maybe cops down there are more bored than up North though.
  5. Wow, I cant seem to find these without graphite shafts, which is kind of frustrating. My buddy had some irons (Golden Bears) with graphite shafts that I hit once and I felt so inconsistent with them. Back to looking I guess
  6. A Bag Boy Express 120 Push Cart at Sports Authority, with the weekly special of 20% off and a 25 off 100 coupon, I got it for 84 bucks.
  7. Local 9 hole course here has glow in the dark night once a month, I havent played yet, but a buddy of mine has and says its great.
  8. Yea, the Rockbottom emails are what have had me wondering about them, even before they were the "special" price.
  9. Anybody have/had/ever played these? There is not a Nickent dealer within 200+ miles, but I am looking for a player improvement set and wondering if these fit the bill, and if they are good quality. Here is a link for the set I am talking about http://www.tgw.com/customer/category...TEGORY_ID=8054
  10. This thread is one of the reasons I love Gran Turismo on Playstation. You can drive a lot of these dream cars, and they are decently realistic!
  11. Dream car I need to win the lottery for? Lamborghini (anything, hell I would take the ol Countach from the 80's in a heartbeat!) or a Nissan Skyline V Spec R 34. Dream car I will one day own is a 70-73 Datsun 510 with a SR20DET motor swap.
  12. I have acutally had 2 stolen recently around here, but its never really been a problem. The first time, was on a hole where you hit over a tiny creek on a dogleg right, I hit it right to the edge of the fairway where it meets up with the next holes fairway, and watched some guy pick it up. By time I got over the little bridge to confront him, of course he denied it. Lets just say the first hole after my buddies and I caught up, he almost got ear-holed by another Titleist that I had marked "Steal Me" Strangely, I found the first stolen golf ball in the cup at the last hole. And then I had a cat steal my ball, but thats a while different story.
  13. I tend to space out about college football until a week or so about the season. I root for Cal and the U (Hurricanes). Cal because they are the closest D-1 team (and a few people I sort of know played there) and the U because a childhood friend played there a few years back.
  14. Madden on PS2 or PS3. Especially the one that had Michael Vick on the cover (I just sold all my old PS2 games, forgot the year) because I rule at that game. Probably competitive eating. Oh wait, real sports?
  15. Well if you still have them 2 weeks from Friday, I think we can deal....lol. I am good on the bag for sure, but a TM rescue sounds good! I will keep watching your thread to see what happens with em for sure.
  16. If you do decide to go that route at Sports Authority, check the local Sunday paper for a 25 bucks off if you spend 100 coupon. You can use it online if you dont have a local Sports Authority, just PM me for the coupon code and I think I can round it up for ya.
  17. I saw those. In fact, local Sports Authority had those on special last week for 299 so out of curiosity I hit them and liked them very much. Those are part of the reason I am iron shopping, felt so much better than my currnt set. Unfortunately, I am assuming those will be sold before I have the money to play with (between all the money I just spent on wedding gifts for friends and baby gifts for my little sister, I could of had 3 sets of those clubs now) so I figured I would at least start shopping.
  18. I have reached a point where I feel my iron play is decent enough to want to use something other than my big box store club set. I figured a used set would be good, but need advice on a game improvement iron set I should be looking for on Ebay or such. The local Play It Again is like buying new, and the local used club market here is very slim. Is there something in the 225-ish price range I should be looking for?
  19. The local Play It Again Sports here will rob you blind, most of their used clubs are like 20 bucks off retail. And I mean they are used and abused for the most part.
  20. I just remember reading the 845's were a great set, and I was hoping that maybe the Tommy Armour brand was still "above average" but perhaps not.
  21. Not many people playing Armours out there it seems. Ah well, might as well pick them up, they have to be better than my current set of irons.
  22. Recommend for a mostly beginner? I have had one set of clubs (Rams bought at local big box store, before hybrids commonly came with sets) in my 3-4 or so years of golfing. I just started playing again after back surgery over a year ago, and was wanting to add some hybrids after using my buddies. Local Sports Authority has a deal on a set, and was just looking for feedback on Tommy Armour quality, durability etc. I believe the same company used to make Tommy Armour and RAM, but not sure if still the case. Thanks for any feedback.
  23. I never really thought about having a "home course" but the place I started playing is Allens Golf course here in Redding, California. Just a tiny little 9 hole, and they dont even have a website! Its laid back, a good place to learn to play really.
  24. Tiger, but not by much.
  25. I work for a vending company. Going to start back to school this fall.
