  1. Similar as in 6' and right around 200. I don't believe he weighs 180, I weigh 180, I'm 5'8" and he's taller and thicker than I am. I have no idea what he can bench, I just think it's possible for someone built like him to do it. Personally I'm not a fan of his no matter how much he can bench.
  2. I grew up with a Hawaiian kid who put up 505 at 243 pounds and I've seen a few guys in the gym here at Ft. Stewart rep 315 with a build similar to Tiger. I don't think Tiger benching 375 is that big of a stretch.
  3. Cobra Speed Pro X I love mine...
  4. I can work my FT3 Tour pretty well. Okay, maybe I can't but someone with skills can...
  5. The logo on the toe changes color in the sun so you should know when you get it.
  6. You're crazy. The problem with golf is taking 5 hours to play 18 holes. I'm all for etiquette and rules but if giving your buddy a 4 footer or letting someone improve their lie helps them play faster and enjoy the game more then I'm all for that too. Some people forget that there's a section on etiquette and pace of play in the rule book. I don't care if you're wearing cut off jean shorts and a tank top as long as I don't have to wait behind you for 5 hours.
  7. I open the face a hair and really try to set my wrists more upright than I would for a straight shot or a draw. That helps me swing a little more out to in which helps start the ball on the right line before if fades. I get the same high push/block that you're complaining of if I just open the face of my club since I swing from the inside.
  8. Good luck on your quest. As far as being nervous in front of people, I am too. This past weekend a friend and I played through a group and they sat on the tee box and watched us tee off. The hole is 321 yards according to my Skycaddie and I nuked my driver to the front of the green. It felt good to do it in front of people. Of course it took 3 putts for me to get in the hole... I don't know if the nervousness ever goes away.
  9. 140 yards is way to close to hit no matter how far you hit your clubs. That's PW distance for me so I would never guess that the college kid behind me was laying up. Now if I was clear of the green like you say the group in front of you was, I probably wouldn't care the first time. The second time I might get a little miffed. On another note, where do you play? I live about a hour from Statesboro. I'm assuming live there...
  10. Mostly weak, neutral if I need to keep it low. Even with the weak grip it's hard to hit the fade I like as my natural flight is right to left.
  11. I have one too. Other than the noise it makes, I love it. Confidence is a huge part of the game. If you step up to hit your driver and think it's going to go 30 feet then it's going to go 30 feet regardless of which club it is.
  12. I also have RAC LTs and a set of MP33s. I play the MP33s now but when practice time gets skimpy, I don't hit the ball well enough for them. $280 may be a bit much... Find someone who has a set that's looking to trade them in. I can only get $175 or so for trade in value so you may be able to get some for less.
  13. UGA would've crushed OSU last year. I think they would've taken all comers... Except USC. I'd love to see UGA make it to the big game this season.
  14. I don't think it adds bounce as much as it exposes more of it. It certainly helps keep the leading edge of my 60* from digging when I take a big whack after I short side myself (which happens a lot).
  15. Easy 5 or nutted 6. Depends on if I need the ball to stop or roll out a little.
  16. I have a Cobra Speed Pro X from last year that I like a lot. It's got a fairly shallow face so it's easier for me to hit off the deck than the G10 or Burner. Just my 2 cents.
  17. It looks like you lose a little of your spine angle through impact.
  18. MP33s. Pros: Easily workable, they feel wonderful Cons: 2 grooves to low and I'm in the hazard guarding the front of the green.
