  1. In your back swing. I feel I am hitting erronant shots due to my back swing (right handed) left arm going higher than parrell to the ground. Where do you guys stop on your back swing with your arms? Hope this makes sense.
  2. How do you clean your clubs? I usually use soap and water on mine, just curious on how others do it!
  3. If you are going to like the G10 driver I would recommend looking at the Rapture, it is a composite head, really nice club, if your in that money range to buy a driver.
  4. I am looking for some help getting out of the sand. I beleive I have the right set up with my hands behind the ball with the face open, legs quiet through the swing, but for some reason I either scull the shot or hit it nice but not long enough to get out of the sand. I have problems following through, it is like a mental block that I do not want to kill the ball. I also try to swing with more hands and wrist on this as well. I am referencing greenside bunkers.
  5. If I went with the AWT I am looking for Stiff shafts, regular has a little to much whip for me. I will sitll consider it, but after playing yesterday I was really happy with my irons, give me a few more rounds to see if I want to switch out.
  6. I would consider that, how would we exchange them? Also, what stiffness are they now and length? I have black dot.
  7. what are you planning on reshafting to?
  8. I play with a guy in my office all the time, and he loves this putter. He has tried a lot of others and keeps playing with this one, and it might just be his stroke but he has the best putting everytime we go out. He claims it is money well spent.
  9. I have the i10's with the DG S-400s, ball flight is low. I heard great things from the AWT, wish I had those to be honest with you. You can always reshaft them to DG or Project, many people have this done.
  10. My swing speed is more around 100-110 with my irons. I think the stiff would work out for me, I will try them first and see which one feels more comfortable.
  11. I guess my problem with my current S400 shafts is that I have trouble getting my club head back due to the weight, I am fine with my scoring irons, it is more of an issue with my 4, 5 and 6 iron. Personally I would like a higher trajectory, but not to excessive. I just feel the s400s are just to hard for me to hit, yes it could be my swing as well, just dont feel comfortable with the heaviness on them. I do like my 7 iron on with the s400, I feel I have more control with my shot, which I would rather have then the distance, where as the 4-6 iron I am looking for some control but distance as well.
  12. Ping G10 series is good as well. I have the ping i10's, got them for a good price otherwise I would of went with Adam's golf. There a great company with cutting edge technology.
  13. thanks for the reply. Not sure if I want to go too light, I have an opportunity to switch my set for another with the AWT. The S400 are just to heavy and too stift. I like the S300, which makes me think it is more of a weight thing rather than stiffness. Will the ones you mentioned be too light?
  14. Has anyone used these? How do you like them. I currently have the ping i10 S400 shafts, there just to heavy for me and too stiff. Has anyone tried playing with both of these shafts, prefer one over the other. Any input would be good. I have an opportunity to switch out sets.
  15. So you are saying for this drill, you will walk forward to the next ball, when your back foot steps forward you are starting your back swing and by the time your left foot lines up your on your down swing?
  16. thanks, I was going to call them this morning. I know Ping wanted $35 per club, but that includes the shaft, so its pretty close to Golf Smith.
  17. I did hit the G10's, I did not like the look at them at address, seemed to be to bulky of a club, I like the blade look that the i10's give. Overall I think my mind was set on the i10's from the begining, a second choice was the mizuno MX-25 (I believe). Ping is a great set of clubs, you will have them for some time to come. Just make sure you get properly fitted, I wish I did, I had to reshaft some of my irons, to heavy of a shaft for me.
  18. I have the i10's and love them. I went through the whole fitting process and trying numerous irons. For me it came down to looks and price, I received a great price on them so I could not turn them down. I am a mid to high handi and I dont find it hard to hit compared to others. I came from Adam golf clubs and have played numerous rounds with the G5s. Youll be happy with what ever decision you make.
  19. OK, thats what I thought couldnt be more than 10-20 bucks. Thanks for the input.
  20. I was curious to how much it will cost to re-shaft 3 separate irons. I am not referencing the shaft it self, just the cost that a local store would charge me.
  21. The shafts I am getting used to now, but still having problems with the weight of the shaft on my low to mid irons, 4-6. I was thinking of just re-shafting my 4-6 iron to the S300 and leave my scoring clubs and wedges witht eh S400. It seem sthe shafts for me is more of a weight thing then flex. I should of got a better fitting that I thought I did, I got a heck of a price so I will deal with re-shafting a few clubs if that is what I have to do.
  22. I purchased a set of Ping i10 for a great price so I cant complain to much. I wanted a stiff shaft so what I got was the WRX shafts S400 or was given from my Ping rep. To me they feel like swinging a 2x4, very stiff and very heavy. Do many people play with S400? Are these more for people with low handicapps and very high swing speeds? I am thinking of just re-shafting my 4-6 iron with S300 or even something else and leaving my scoring irons with the S400's. Is it OK to re shaft through Golf Smith or other golf stores? What shafts do others recomend? Thanks for any help, I appreciate it.
  23. After last weekend at the US Open, Woods has to be the best. Just would like to watch tournaments on the other players as well, I guess we can now.
