  9. It's not cheating, in SFL preferred lies are the norm. Most of SFL was built on reclaimed swamp land So pro events in SFL are usually LCP just lije honda was today Most money games in SFL are LCP So its the norm Not cheating Its y the pga is doing what I said is the norm in SFL
  10. Why not? Some like to call people names like cheater Now anyone can see Pga tour pros hit SFL Its LCP Just like I said is the norm
  11. So I played a round with another young phenom in SFL 13 year old Valeria Pacheco She's a 1 handicap Tiny 5'5" 100 pounds if that Swing speed close to 100mph Was driving it all day middle of fairway around 250 yards She played from mens tees on a tough course that plays long I played two tees behind her with a young pga tour pro He was 310 most tee shots and his s/s is 120 range Zero roll on the course like most SFL courses I was 25 yards behind him most tee shots from same pro tees If you look up the record of the phenom She is usually 10+ shots ahead of the field in her 13-15 yr old tourneys Only video of her on youtube she is 10 Pretty much same swing Lock for Lpga imo The kids are getting really good today Nice to see one out of USA instead of Asia
  12. Just like I said and how many called me a cheater Lol In SFL its the norm to lift clean and place So all the purists called me a cheater Yet the honda is preferred lies today As is usual on SFL For anyone that plays money games or is involved in pro events in SFL
  13. Let's see Honda classic minutes from me Preferred lies Just like almost any pro event or money game is played in SFL So let the people calling me a cheater call all the pros at the honda cheaters You LCP in SFL That is the norm
  14. Same old story, hips facing ball at impact not rotated 45+ degrees toward target like pros so a bad weight shift. Here is you at impact, the others are famous pros, see their hip rotation by impact? Even a fat old guy 55 can get hips cleared LOL So that's what u need to copy Good hip rotation
  15. The thread was about hacks aiming center green I said good for hacks Then someone starts saying pros are 40 feet from pins, so I showed inside 150 pros knock down pins. Also someone said 00 TW was not aiming for pins. The stats show my posts were right, someone said back it up I did. Since you keep blocking me from threads, I see how you run this board. If it goes against your opinion you block people Your 5sk concept is seriously flawed. Steady head WRONG No pro has a steady head, it moves sideways and down. Seems you thought Hogans 5 lessons were a good format to copy Hogan dipped twice in his swing, so much for a steady head You just cant stand opinions from knowledgeable golfers that differ from you So you get the last word by blocking them
  16. Tour courses average 76 par ratings Average tour score 71 If you took top 10 of 20 scores considered the slope every guy on tour is around +8 The reason, you take out 50% of their high scores the avg goes from 71 to 69 or so Then slope and rating makes courses 76 Plus a hc is potential so its usually 1 below their average good rounds Someone did a hc analysis of tiger in 00 he was first pro to hit double digits Almost +11 his career year Pros are that good
  17. I said way back good strategy for hacks but skilled players hit near pin Then someone said tiger in 00 was hitting to middle greens Fact is if you put a pro near scoring range they knock down pins thats 125/150 yards for pros. Top 100 on tour hit 75% gir from 150 yds http://www.pgatour.com/stats/stat.329.html Top 100 tour within 25 feet from 150 yds like I said http://www.pgatour.com/stats/stat.339.html So if you really see pros up close and play with them you know they pin hunting all day 450 yd par 4 they are driver wedge Or short iron Theyre next to the hole all day within 25 feet Their good shots are within 10 feet Your average golfer has no idea how good pros are, no clue really.
  18. Risk reward, short club to tucked pin no water every pro going at that pin. Water one side, they go to side of pin away from penalty. I think your avg distance hole is off, its 24 foot range. There might be variance, distance to hole gir and overall distance to hole. But 24 foot putts is avg from stats I remember 150 yard shot is 450 feet, pros are 95% accurate or better More like 97% accurate on the greens they hit at 150 yds Pros are hitting wedge or 9iron from 150 Their gir is higher from 150 than the overall avg gir Pros start to score at 150 yds Non pros usually get close at 100 yards
  19. Here's an example on how good tour pros are, golf slinger just had one of their majors at one of courses I play all the time. Lots of young pros, everyone of them swings over 110mph and many 120. I play with quite a few of these local pros. Who won? A guy that made over 50% of his cuts on the big pga tour last year and still lost his card. Most of the kids on that mini minor league tour are plus 4 to 5. A guy falls off pga tour who is plus 8 range he walks away with that tours big event. Thats how good pga tour big tour pros are, the guys who cant keep their card are leagues better than the pros at the next level down.
  20. The OP mentioned TW, and how he didnt go for pins in his opinion in 00. If you know anything about the pga tour, you know who ruled the distance charts for almost 15 years. You look at the charts the one year the pga's long drive champ got unseated a young kid took his crown. Only guys Ive seen longer are the professiional long drivers. So, TW imo will always go after pins as all tour pros do. They might keep it on a side of the hole away from trouble, but they do not aim for middle of greens. A pro would never aim for 20 yards long on a hole where you have 45 yard green front to back and a tucked front pin. If they have room over the pin they go 5 yds long over the pin no where near the middle. Pros and scratch players never go middle green. They hit to pins using a pie grid. You draw circle 15 feet around the pin, you quarter it, then you pick the 1/4 of the pie with best putt. If the best putt is near trouble, they go for a quatrant away from trouble. To say TW in 00 went middle of green hunting is wrong. Pros aim for 15 or 25 foot circles. 150 in its 15 foot circles. From 200 in its 25 foot circles. Pins can be 20 or more yards from a center on deep greens. That's foolish to think any pro is going 60 feet from a hole. Anyway, pros and scratch golfers hit to areas of small circles around the pin. Hacks should aim for center cuts not skilled players. A bunker will not scare off a tour pro, they all got great bunker games. Now water and a penalty might make the pro aim away from the quadrant near a penalty, it wont make him go 20 yards away from a pin.
  21. Most tour pros I play with swing 120 range, some swing 130 range, that's why they play minor pga tours, they havent learned short grass is key. While the avg is 113 range main tour, everyone of those guys has 120 in their bag for the long par 4's and par 5s. I play at sea level in Sfl, driver is usually 240/250 in air with roll out its 260 range unless it rained that day. I go anywhere else my driver is 5-10% longer. Sfl is one of worse areas to judge driver distance, sea level, near ocean, lots of rain, swampy courses. While my driver might get close to a decent spot on a long hole pros play, they hit 7irons where I hit 5hybrids or even a 4H. So Im a long senior, who can still kick it around scratch. Yet against a young pro, he's 40 yards longer off tee then hitting irons 2 to 3 clubs longer. Thats why a scratch golfer who would be close to my s/s has zero chance against real tour pros. Example 450 yard hole par 4, if I dont have wind or good bounce Im 200 to green hitting a 3H. The pro is 175 to 150 to green hitting 7i or a wedge. The sr tee may be 400 on the long holes so now Im at the 150 or 140 if Im playing sr tees. At the 150 Im hitting 7i like the pro at 175. Now you can have scratch golfers with my lenght, but most who are young in their 20's or 30's will be way longer than me. They just have bad course management or bad short games to be scratch and not a plus. So to put a typical scratch player on pro tips swinging only 100mph with 450 yard and longer par 4's at sea level is a joke. 7irons dont go 200 yards at sea level near the ocean. So you need that extra 30 to 50 yards off the tee that all pros have compared to what most scratch golfers typically hit. A scratch golfer is swinging a driver typically around 100mph pros are 115/125 mph Its night and day when you have a 100mph swing against even 115 let alone 125 mph The short pro is 30/50 yards pass you on tee shots and then 2 to 3 clubs longer every other club. So unless you have 115 s/s and can hiit 65% of fairways, you have no chance scoring on a pga tour track, zero chance.
  22. If you can hit a driver on average 250 at sea level and reach a 475 yard hole in 2, you are scratch potential according to usga. I think if you cant drive it 275 now you cant b scratch from 6700+ yard tees. Today I played 6200 yard tees with guys my age 55+ Two of us were 260+ off the tee every drive. The other two were struggling to hit it 220. So I had knock down wedges inside 100 yds all day. I was able to reach 2 of the par 5's easily with a 3w but chose to lay up to 35 yd pitches. Only two par 4s had me over 150 off tee, rest were 70 to 100 yds. So Im a senior, almost 55, i played with 3 guys in that age range. 1 hits it in my zip code the other 2 cant. You put me on longer tees no problem. You put the guys hitting it 220 on longer tees they have no chance of a good score. So you have to remember age and distance are factors too. Most guys under 40 playing to scratch hit it 275+ A senior over 50 might hit it 240 and be scratch on senior tees. Yet he cant score from 6700 yards. So is he scratch? Handicaps are not perfect, you play usually with the same groups you give strokes to keep it close. If you play in set games, they track your scores and give you a league cap. Tour Pros are 8 shots better than scratch players easily. Just play one , you'll see. When I play young tour pros they give me senior tees and 3 or 4 a side. Good days I win, bad days I loose. Senior tees are usually 4 shots easier than pro tees. But tour pros are all 300+ off tee with a driver The long pros are 325+
  23. Yep, LCP almost every day in SFL. Since I hit 10/12 fways a round, I get to LCP all day long, it helps me hit 12/14 greens a round really tight. Then we make sure thos 6-18 foot birdies are on a pristine line to the hole. Its hard for me to find a few spots to add some shots on the card. I just hate carrying a plus around. Lol
  24. Now he can work with a mirror and try to hit the pro impact position. Plus in future videos he can just focus on belt buckle and back heel. If anyone gets near that impact position the game gets easy
  25. Average tour score 70/71 You only count best 10 of 20 its more like 68/69 You use course ratings that average 76 You realize IF they had a HC they would all be plus 8 range I think the 00 tiger slam someone figured he was 10+ that year First time a tour pro hit double digits for a year I read
