  1. I can't stand Buck's baseball announcing. But I have no idea why people like Kalas either. I find it unbearable to listen to a Phillies game.
  2. I chose making good stroke as my problem. I have made several big benders that drop into the side of the cup. Alignment is rarely my issue, I actually enjoy attempting putts that break. As for putting a good stroke on the ball, I'm working on that. I either hit it too soft or too right. I have SBST stroke and I am now looking for a putter that is more suited for my stroke. The reason I hit longer putts to the right is because of the toe weighting on the White Hot XG #1. As I begin to move the putter back through, the toe opens the face up and I push the shot right. To counter this, I sometimes take too soft of a backstroke or forwardstroke to keep the face from opening up and I leave the putt short.
  3. I'm 6'1" and play .5" long and 2* up. I just played my first round yesterday with my new irons and the length was a notable difference as well as the more upright club head. I no longer only had dirt and grass on the toe of my club, but spread evenly along the edge. My wrist to floor is bout 36".
  4. Haha, nice. I lived in Alaska for a year when I was one year old, but went back 4 years ago. We got in at like 2 in the morning and it was like just before sunset back home. I am going to play 36 on Friday. We have fall break and greens fee is $15 all day for a student. I'll play more if the course isn't too bad. I will break in my new irons then too.
  5. What are you, a clown?
  6. I always play for bogey golf, average my pars with my double bogeys and hope for nothing worse. I have yet to achieve a true 18 over on a full 18 holes. My lowest score is a 91 on a par 72. Perhaps my most memorable round. I was well on my way to sub 90 on a course I rarely hit mid 90's on, and then the triple bogey and 4 over par came. I was quite upset, and in fun my brother tossed an old shitty wood he had in his bag and told me to relieve my anger. I did, I broke it over my knee and threw it into the woods. However, that wasn't all. I threw the club end in by holding near the broken side and it cut my hand pretty good. My hand was bleeding pretty good and not wanting to call it a day because I only had 3 holes left, I played on. I parred out the last 3 holes after that, the best 3 hole stretch I had all day. I attribute it to holding the grip lighter, a more proper grip I presume. Sorry, for going way OT, but I learned a good lesson that day. I will never break another club in my life. I was so mad at myself for almost cutting short one of my best rounds ever. EDIT: The only thing keeping me from bogey golf now is my putting. I am going to keep track of my stats per round starting tomorrow and may get a new putter. I'm looking to get a face balanced putter that would be more suited for my stroke.
  7. It's the same when we complain how our favorite baseball players or quarterbacks suck. Sure they're much better than us, but in relative terms, they are awful.
  8. This past winter in Florida we were playing an executive course that hard plastic cart path signs. I teed it up on a long par 3 and took a big swing. I topped it and it hit one of those plastic yellow signs square. It sounded like a light bulb popping. It happened so quick because the sign was so close that I heard the pop before I could even look up. There were pieces of the sign scattered around in front of the tee box. My brothers and I were laughing uncontrollably. I haven't been playing very long, so that is my personal funny shot. Although one time I had hit a tree and it came off in a 45* angle to my left as my dad was driving up the fairway and it hit the side of his cart. That was funny too, but not as funny as the sign.
  9. Mind games, I like it.
  10. I never said I believed all aspects of the movie. It certainly made me question and that is the reason I researched it for myself.
  11. Yes, that is what I was responding too. After reading most of the debunking911.com website, there is so much evidence against every conspiracy about what happened on 9/11 that it is impossible that such a conspiracy exists after reading it. Every conspiracy is founded on misinformation and misinterpretation of quotes and research. I encourage everyone to read through this website. I just spent the last 2 hours reading it.
  12. After doing some research I discovered Debunking 9/11 Conspiracy Theories . So far I have read quite a bit about Dr. Jones. He is not a credible source, as these folks appear to be. Though he is a physicist, he has no experience with Civil Engineering. He has never had a paper published in a credible journal relating to Civil Engineering. I am trying to discredit this video myself, and I thank everyone for there insight.
  13. I completely agree with this. The reason for all of these conspiracies is because we are kept in the dark by our government and media of everything that is really happening in our world today. Much of this (conspiracy) stems from hearsay; some believe it, others dismiss it.
