  1. I've been having trouble with this shot lately. I can't seem to carry it that far from the sand. I only own a 52 wedge as a golf pro told be that it's better to master all different kinds of shots with one wedge than it is to be mediocre with a 52, 56 and 60... anyway, greenside I'm fine. It's a floppy shot that sticks. I open the club face, open my stance and hit about an inch behind the ball with a tall follow through. Any suggestions for the longer bunker shot from 20-30 yards?
  2. Ping Pong. Any day.
  3. This is not that hard... Keep good posture TURN. Don't sway side to side. If you are right handed, that left shoulder should be right on your chin at the top of your swing. Concentrate on keeping your head still all the way through the swing. Don't look up to follow your ball until you are through it. Get those hands over (point towards your target with the toe on follow through) THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT: Swing for your follow through...not at the ball. You will be amazed how screwed up your swing gets when you are TRYING to hit the ball. Hope this helps.
  4. Well, if you're a decent putter you can lag it close and knock it in for a two putt with a damn 2x4. Get the wedges first. I only have a 52, need a 56 and a 60. I would rather putt with ANY putter than not have a full wedge set. Cmon! These are your scoring clubs!
  5. When on the tee with a driver: keep posture, keep the head still, get your hips through and hands over. Works great.
  6. For protecting your irons, it sounds great. But think about what a pain it would be to have to towel your club and put it in it's little cover after every shot. It would get tedious, not to mention slow down play.
  7. Tiger has the luxury of modern equipment, but I think he'd still whoop on ol Jackie boy with old clubs back in the day.
