  1. And if you think about it, take it out 8 times and you have paid for it already. That is 144 holes. That is 8 outings. That is a savings of $25 per cart.
  2. gppgolf.com, tgw.com, and mortongolfsales.com are sites that I have found shoes to be very inexpensive or comparable to others.
  3. Noooo! 44 is not just for a piece of metal. It comes with a small rubber holder thingamagig case! Sheesh...
  4. ....that no matter how much we b*tch about Vista, crashing, viruses, we still buy their crap! So what do we do, we buy an Apple that just keeps coming out with other better crap and pay an arm and a leg for it! I'm sure Scotty Cameron fits in there somewhere.
  5. This is no doubt a bargain tool if you don't want to drop on something that Scotty makes. Definitely if I lose my second one, I'm going for one of these next. I love my Scotty putter, my scotty marker but I have to stop worshipping his stuff. lol.
  6. Yeah and Microsoft and Apple and ....
  7. I don't think we should overthink this little item. For me, my eyes sometimes deceive me and when lining up my shot, whether using the ball's marker line or using any of these tool mentioned above, it gives you confidence that that is the right line to aim for....after reading the green. I know that I sometimes second guess myself when I line myself up using any of the mentioned tool above and then when I position myself above the ball, I'm like, that doesn't look right! All and behold, I would then miss 1 or 2 ball left/right because I change it last minute. The bottom line is, if you have the money and want to support Scotty Cameron, then you have the money. I know that I spent "foolishly" on an item where I could have spent $10 dollars for it but I like Scotty Cameron and the $44 bucks or so won't break the bank for me.
  8. I don't think you can go wrong with either or. They both are great products. However, with that said, in my opinion, the Clic Gear is much more solid by design. Feature by feature, such as the scorecard holder, cup holder, etc. they seem to go head to head with each other. I don't know about the bag boy but the clic gear impressed me with these certain features that you really can find on websites other than personal reviews such as the following... Clic Gear has... 1. External Umbrella holder. I didn't know what this was at first because it was not documented anywhere in the brochure/website/video. After bringing my umbrella one day which was attached to my bag, I was like hmm, these straps on the cart seem to fit perfectly. The bottom line was, you can attach and secure your bag to the cart and the umbrella can be attached outside of the bag and onto the cart so you have ease to accessing your umbrella. 2. Glove holders (velcro) Although simple in design, on both sides of the handle are two velcro attachment points where you can stick your glove on. Simple yet very useful. 3. Similar Features I wont' go into too much detail with this but from the look of things, I can't tell from Bag Boy but the Clic Gear comes with an standard umbrella holder, this actually detaches and can be attached at the base of the handle. Very innovative. It seems like you have to buy an extra accessory from Bag boy. Clic Gear has pencil holder, scorecard holder, a compartment that can hold 3 balls and other things, tee holder. 4. Accessories Here is what I like about Clic Gear and perhaps one of the hardest information to find on Clic Gear site. Under their accessory page, you see a set of accessories specifically for the cart such as...wheel cover, shoe brush, etc. These are the basic accessories. You can find it here. What people don't know is that if you go to the USA Clic Gear site, there are tons of others, such as GPS holder, hand gloves, rain gear. You can find it here. As you can see, from an accessory point of view, the options are just pretty cool. Clic Gear thought of everything!
  9. Clic gear all the way! Best investment I made! Great quality, folds nicely and just simply awesome. I think it's a beast of a cart in comparison to what is out there. It may be heavier than most of the carts but that is in comparison to the lesser featured carts. Trust me, Clic Gear is the only way to go in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, the other carts are great as well but you can't beat the durability that Clic Gear sells.
  10. Look at me, I purchased it twice! :) Mine was stolen along with with all my set and I would break out in cold sweats because I felt naked without it. Hahaha... On a serious note, it's not for everyone, especially at the price it's being sold but it helped me and it may be a gimmick to others but for me, I feel confident with one and it's been what I call my lucky horseshoe, four leaf clover, rabbit's foot....even if I don't use it.
  11. Here is the way to look at it, essentially, you would want both if you don't have one or the other. For starters, most people get a stand bag because it's relatively the most versatile for both walking and riding. Usually, the aim for stand bags is to go as light as possible to ensure a comfortable walk. However, with all the marketing going with stand bags, they come in all range of weights and basically, finding the right stand bag is as hard as finding a needle in the haystack. Regarding the cart bag, let's just say that weight is not an issue so most things that gets featured in within a cart bag essentially will make the golfer's life easier because weight doesn't hold back the designer. So why get both kinds? Because you'll never know what situation you will always be in. If that is the case and only want one bag, then get the stand bag. Personally, I never thought I would get a cart bag because it's monstrous but honestly, I use the cart bag 95% of the time because I'm riding 95% of the time. Purchase a push cart and that percentage increases. I do keep my stand bag whenever I travel domestically/overseas if I want to bring my own equipment because I believe in being as light as possible. What you really need to do is figure out what you do most when you go out to play. Do you ride? walk/push/pull? If you have both, the answer to that doesn't matter. Prices for these bags nowadays are getting inexpensive that having both isn't a luxury anymore. To answer your question, yes, when I did have a stand bag, I wished I had a cart bag. Why? because everytime I ride/push/pull, it was a pain to keep my clubs organized. I wanted the separate compartments for each of my club. Perhaps I was being picky but it is really helpful! Besides, I was always riding/push/pull that I said to myself why not have that simple luxury. So here I am, I currently have the Ogio Edge and Ogio Atlas Cart Bag. Both that are wonderfully made and just simply awesome!
  12. James, here is my opinion which is probably shared the same amongst others. Putters are really something that comes to you versus what you may try to gather answers from others that may think work for you... In other words, our opinions really doesn't matter until you spend the time hitting hundreds of balls with each putter. For instance, I have the Scotty Cameron Newport 2 which I love to death but couldn't use it for the life of me so I went ahead and tried out the Sabretooth which worked wonders. (This was after several putts with the sabretooth). My putts have gotten a lot better but after awhile, I picked up the newport 2 again and given the confidence and feel of the putter, I learned how to use it better. I have both in my arsenal and love to use both in different situations. At any point, browsing the golf store, I picked up the teron to try to putt a few and realized that the teron did even better giving me more confidence. I don't know what rhyme or reason it was but I was sinking long putts with ease. Perhaps it's all mental but now would like to give up my sabretooth for the Teron because it just feels awesome and along with reading the breaks, I seem to be able to control the ball speed a whole lot better with the Teron versus the Sabretooth. Yes, the sabretooth was great but the teron for me was even more an improvement. I can't say that I have purchased the teron as of yet and tried out on the course but time and time again, I can sink a ball with the teron far more accurately than the Sabretooth. I have spent countless hours on the demo floor switching between the two back and forth. Like I said I think it's all in my head but if I were to tally up all the ball sunk with the Teron versus the Sabretooth, from 4, 5, 6, 10 feet, etc. The Teron will definitely win by a landslide...actually I have tallied it and let's just say I'm sold. What is stopping me? Well, I don't want to end up with three putters so I'm looking to let go my sabretooth first then go with the Teron. The point in the story, spend time with each putter because what you will find here from everyone is their experience of how they got to love their putter. Now find yours.
  13. I love my sabretooth before it was stolen, so I bought another one brand new. I am actually looking to sell it because I want to try out the Teron. Let me know if you're interested.
  14. I heard these onPar are run on windows (mobile OS) and prone to crashing, lag and all things related to MS windows. It's basically a windows mobile device with a GPS chip overlaid with a GPS software. Not that great in my opinion. Aside from that, limited available courses.
