I have the select comfort (air) and it is the best thing I ever did for my back. It took my about 3 weeks to get the thing dialed in but I have been a happy camper ever since.

This guy has hit every golf site under the sun with the exact same post but using a different name each time. Google the subject line and see how many times it comes up. What I can't figure is what's his angle? Does he get credit for page views? It's a cheesy game I can't see why he has made such a huge effort.

vBulletin 3.5 Upgrade - October 18th-ish

The WYSIWYG editor looks a little funny....missing the font styles and size functions......some sizing icons in the upper right are also missing. Check the client script folder, it may have not completely uploaded. -
I had this problem when I did my upgrade. If the problem continues, clear your cookies and temp internet files then log in again.

You must be single, huh?

vBulletin 3.5 Upgrade - October 18th-ish
Slingblade61 replied to iacas's topic in Announcements & Tech Support
I ran the upgrade already and I didn't lose the "look" at all. If you run any hacks, you will lose those but the colors and such will remain. They don't mention this in the instructions but don't upload the images folder, you may lose any custom images that you have. -
Or hire some people who know how to mix epoxy. I have broken 2 Dunlop Loco Pro drivers.......shafts actually. The glue held up just fine. ;)

I don't know where to post this

Get your post count up and you'll graduate to something less offensive. ;) -
If you can connect your camera to your PC using a USB cable (instead of firewire) then the golfsmith software will take care of the rest. You need nothing else.

Just slip Erik a $50 for site upkeep and you get the tour pro tag. ;)

You know.......I watched the show maybe one time so the self absorbed comment has no meaning for me but I can't help thinking of Mohammed Ali when I read that stuff on the various golf boards....I should pay more attention perhaps? I will tell you one thing that still has me in a state of shock and that's her age. Everything I read says she is 28. I had her pegged for a plasticized 45 year old....I still can't get over that!

You're gonna get this on film and post it, right?

Chippers and Putting Wedges
Slingblade61 replied to mikalee's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I use a 4 or 5 iron around the green. Putting stroke. I have zero confidence close in with a wedge. I can get it in the air ok but I have no idea where it will come down so I pretty much bump and run as much as possible. -
Auto racing. Any kind of mechanical racing, for that matter. ;)

You'll especially enjoy the masters horrific spelling. ;) I'm actually thinking of offering a class on decoding the master's post's. ;)

I see. Ok, well I guess I misunderstood the tone that I picked up from reading the posts in the archive. My apologies. Cheers!

Thanks iacas (could explain that screen name to me sometime?) I tried to post some pics of my home course on the fly this morning but you have the file size set to abysmally small (35kbish). I was going to do an [img] link but they are attached to my site so I have to get them situated alone on the web somewhere and post them tomorrow. Think about that file size thing, it adds alot to the site when people can attach pics of good quality and at the same time not kill your disc storage. Cheers!

I found this site by doing a little research and I am amazed at the similar circumstances surrounding the creation of golf boards. I suppose dissatisfaction with one board or another leads to many "new births" regardless of the subject matter. Anyway, I am in a similar circumstance. I am the webmaster at www.shottalk.com Shot Talk was created as the result of shoddy administration at another GR (not the same one). I started the board last August and in the early days I was consumed by site design and not so much with membership. Today, The design is nearly done and I have focused my attention on membership, which is what has brought me here......it's not what you think...I did not come here to spam the board but hopefully to share information and perhaps a reciprocal link or two. Whatever your feelings about your GR may be, the guy has his act together and I have been studying his technique, I actually asked him point blank how he got so many members to such a young board but he never answered me so I have had to dig deep to find some answers, I don't have them all but I think I am getting close. SO, enough of that, I like what you all have done here, Personally, my golf game stinks to high heaven but I can't get enough of it. Last year was really my first year of playing seriously.I live in Connecticut and I joined a league, did some tourneys, got a handicap and all that, I hope to get some lessons in this season to get my short game up to snuff and the handicap down. Cheers! Slingblade61
