  1. I second this statement 100%. Their self titled album is awesome and I listen to it all the time. Paper Scratcher, Tones of Home, Change, Holyman...pretty much the whole CD.
  2. Scent of a Woman is definitely classic. Pacino is great....Also living in Denver I am a fan of Out Cold because of the snowboarding lifestyle...good picks guys.
  3. I second the Steelhead from Callaway...i have one and don't see myself replacing it for a long time.
  4. and yeah, the zip grooves are very nice.
  5. yes that is the CG14....I dont think that would stop you from buying the club....plus I think it serves a purpose, makes the club more forgiving...which helps when u get to the higher lofts.
  6. I tried them both and I just liked the CG14. Also I have heard the Vokeys wear out pretty quickly while the Clevelands last for a long time...I'll find out for myself in a few years....My stepdad uses Vokeys but he really took a liking to my CG14.
  7. I just picked up a Cleveland CG14 and I LOVE it. I definitely recommend it, although there are always the Vokey lovers.
  8. May as well just go to Florida. I am in Palm Beach for a little while now and just played 18 2 days ago. Rained today and yesterday, only reason i didnt go out again. Had a great time, can't tell you how many Canadian license plates are down here.
  9. Caddyshack 2. Wait, I mean Caddyshack 1.
  10. I also putt on my carpet just about everyday. I have a long hallway that allows me to practice longer putts, and even chipping. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten yelled at for waking up my girlfriend in the middle of the night with a risky hallway chip shot. When the weather is bad or there is really nothing else to do, workin on the short game inside is the way to go. Also, live about 2 minutes from a par 3 course that has a putting green, so i find myself down there often working on putting.
  11. Tiger is about ten years older than AK. Perhaps that is why AK was only able to show us what he does, while Tiger was able to tell us exactly how he lines up, etc. AK is a kid, he is fun to watch, and Tiger is, well Tiger. I enjoyed the show, and didn't expect much more.
  12. who cares, the Giants are dominating. Earth Wind and Fire baby!
  13. I recently bought my Stepdad a dozen personalized golfballs from golfballs.com. They have a picture of his face on them so it is kind of a joke, but regardless I can't tell you much he loves them. He said he is only going to use them for putting so he doesn't crush his own face. I haven't seen them yet, but my stepdad and my brother said they came out very well. You can pick whatever type of ball you want as well. Good luck!
  14. wow that is it 100%. thanks!
  15. Your post reminded me of a picture I have been searching for, for a while. Everytime I am in Logan airport, I notice this ad with a picture of Tiger Woods pitching next to an alligator. It says something like "focus" and whenever I walk by it I tell myself I need to find it on the internet....still no luck. Have you guys seen it?
  16. Knicks. All the way.
  17. I have a 983k driver by Titleist and I like it a lot. I am happy knowing it is in my bag and do not see myself getting a new one until it is absolutely necessary. When I do get a new driver, it will probably be something like the 983k.
  18. I would recommend going to a par 3 course once in a while and get used to par 3s. I have one right down the road from my house and feel very comfortable on par 3s now. Before you know it, you will be trying to shoot par on the little course...hopefully there is one where you live, good luck.
  19. Wow. I haven't even gotten 5 holes in one in a very solid week of playing Tiger Woods on Xbox.
  20. rock climbing (bouldering,) fishing, snowboarding, photography, watching sports, playing video games and guitar
  21. Thanks guys, I appreciate it...goin to pick up some FJs.
  22. I have to say that Boo Weekley is my current favorite because he is such a character, but I enjoy watching Sergio Garcia and Tiger the most. I gotta give Charles Barkley honorable mention for his crisp swing tho.
  23. I searched the forum for any info on winter gloves and didn't find what I was looking for, so I figured I'd post this. Today I went down the road to my local course to play a quick nine only to find out it was absolutely freezing out. By the end, my hands just about felt like they were getting frostbitten...I then realized I should look into winter gloves. Are winter gloves beneficial? I assume you keep them on while putting? Which brand do you recommend? How should they fit? Even though it has been quite cold, the sun has been shining so I am going to continue to play, and winter gloves could be the solution to my problems...what do you guys think?
  24. Don't allow yourself mulligans! If it is too frustrating at first, start with 1 mulligan per 2 holes, next round 1 mulligan per 3 holes, etc. until you aren't relying on them anymore. Good luck
  25. I have the Craz-E "I series" and I absolutely love it. It is very heavy and resembles the twoball. After trying a bunch at the proshop I ended up choosing this one
