  1. lol everything has gone wrong witht his guy since he signed that new contract.
  2. bump once
  3. Hey Tonyy, i messaged you about specific exercises
  4. Oh, and I forgot about Ogilvy. His interviews are hilarious and he was said to be one of the best interviews in sports
  5. I have a Scotty Cameron Cornado Two Putter. I am not sure which make it is but the bottom of the putter says Scotty Cameron and under it the art of putting. The putter was the rusted finish and recently it seems that it has gotten worse. I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix such a problem? I have thought about using some sort of rust remover to bring the putter back to its original finish, would that damage the putter? Any help and/or advice is appreciated.

    battle royale

this is a great topic for discussion. I, personally would narrow it down to Tiger, Jack, and Hogan. Every player on the list (as well as write ins) are all pretty close to each other talent wise. So there has to be something else that seperates them. I chose Tiger, Jack, and Hogan because of what they had in their heads and hearts. Not to say that the others don't but Hogan came back to win after a near fatal car crash, and Jack and Tiger, are well Jack and Tiger. What would the format be for this battle royal? One tournament? Anyone could win, if it was a series of say 12 events filled with them playing on courses that some know, all know, and none know. That, would be excitement.
  7. I am determined to get into better shape. Instead of doing my normal routine of doing the simple weight exercises that I know I want to do exercises that will not only improve my overall fitness but also help to improve the muscles that are used for golf. Is there anyone here who could help me to formulate some sort of routine for me? Or at least guide me the right way. It would be greatly appreciated. Mods: If this is in the wrong forum feel free to either move it or lock it, but please let me know if you do.
  8. Tiger-he is the man AK-up and coming stud Darren Clarke- guy can play, and coming back to win multiple times after his wifes passing was inspiring Camillo Villegas-great fresh face and will inspire others to play around the world Sergio-such a great player and when he finds his mental game he will be a force Ian Poulter-flair and determined Ryan Moore-I still think he will win a major and have 10+ wins on tour there are definitely more but I can't think of them now, oh and they are in no particular order...except for Tiger
  9. speaking of Adam Scott he played very well in the first round of the HSBC and played decent in the second round. Either way he is definitely in the tournament. Hopefully he has a high finish that he can build on the for rest of the year
  10. no news is good news....kinda. He is only chipping and putting at this point. He has stated publicly various times that he won't hit a full golf shot until the New Year. Im glad that he is taking his time coming back, as he has like 20 years left in his career if he so wishes. I don't think he will play a tournament until Feb at the earliest and June at the latest. Micro fracture surgery is serious and not something that you want to rush
  11. where do you play? morning times are more expensive around here. Personally my ideal tee off time is about 10am, enough time to let me get my stuff in order in the morning and I can still go out and have a few adult beverages the morning prior if I want.
  12. The reason that Adam Scott had a "down year" is because of his health. He was never fully healthy for any of the majors and it showed. I think that he will have a solid year in 09. I don' think that he will win a major but I definitely expect him to post solid finishes in the majors with at least one top 10 maybe a top 5. Also golfers don't hit their prime until their early to mid 30's which would give Adam some time. I think that he will finish with 2 or 3 majors, probably a Masters and/or British Open.
  13. I think that there are multiple reasons for this, the race for Dubai is definitely one. Another is the fact that they Euro season is pretty much year round which will give them a chance to keep their game sharpe year round and to get a leg up in the world rankings on those who are not playing in those events. I think it is definitely a good thing and the only reason Tiger won't be doing it is because his time is literally worth more than everyone elses and he has too much on his plate to play those extra events in Europe. The fact that the Euro tour can pay appearance fees will also help for some of the top notch players
  14. DA Points hit two amazing shots to win that tourney. I was very impressed with how both players handled it, I think that part of the reason that Bettencourt handled it so well was it shored up his PGA card for next year and that is the goal being on the Nationwide circuit, to get your tour card.
  15. I do agree that Paddy will win more majors, but I don't think that he will win 5 more. I think he will win 2 or 3 more. In the upcoming year I think that the players with the best chances to win a major are (in no particular order) Tiger, Paddy, Sergio, AK, and Villegas. Since only Paddy and Tiger have won majors on that list I would say that there is a good chance that he takes one down, as I agree with the above poster about having doubts about Tiger playing in the Masters
