  1. First of the soldier wouldnt be able to kill Pelosi cause she's a gad damn vampire. And secondly I think that by having the article posted and not recorded audio, it let many people re-examine the comment over an over until they think that they can call him on. You liberals need to learn to take a joke. Thousands of Bush jokes for you and one for us, are joke hurts the left more, and I didnt even think the joke packed that much of a punch. Lets change the characters to Hastert, Cheney, and Bin laden, and see how many people would have found it funny. Bravo to feherty for voicing the opinion of many soldiers around the world
  2. my dad just got it it its okay. I have tried it with all things set neutral and it goes a little shorter than my old sumo. I would say dont get it, it has a high amount of backspin, so unless you need to get the ball in the air its just going to end up hurting you. Also the shaft changability isnt worth the changed ball flight, its a little more of a players club than they market it as. But, alas, I am not you. I would go and try it for yourself and compare it to some other drivers, like the r 7 limited, same weight set up as a r9 but no shaft change and only 200. I would also try the new nike dymo and titliest D comp
  3. Just had my first eagle. i am 15 years old and I had it on a par 4. I also ended up shooting 38 for my first reall 9 this season. I was one my par 4 5th with a 240 blind tee shot over a bunker. The hole curves around the lake so i was about 103 out from the pin. I took my gap wedge and hit possibly one of the most beautiful balls of my life, high and arching. I landed it about 4 feet past the hole and spun it in for my first eagle in my life
  4. Check out the new mizuno mx 700 hybrid. I was orginally planning on not having a three iron is using the mx 700 as its replacement. When I first tried the mx 700 I flew over 30 yards longer than my three iron. It is ideal if you want some slight workability. I would compare to the tour edge exotics hybrids but its only $200 instead of $350
  5. I was playing a course when I was nine down in florida with my dad. It was a partial island green with railroad ties on the front (Same thing as 17 at TPC sawgrass). I hit my iron perfect right at the pin on the front of the green but I spun it back because the ground was so soft. It ended up sitting on the railroad tie about 10 feet from the hole. I couldnt putt it as there was a sprinkler head in my way, so I had to chip it. ended up chipping it in for my first birdie in my golf career, with one of the hardest shots I had ever played
  6. I'm a huge tiger fan, but the 20+ replays of the putt, one after the other, some from the same camera repeatedly was annoying as hell. He's a great player, but we dont need 5 minutes of the same god damn putt to remind us of it
  7. thanks everyone for all the advice, and to answer some of you guys questions/ respond to some statements, I like my driver head, but my friend who has the same club but with a stiff shaft has none of of the same feel that comes with mine. I know that there are alot of shafts out there but I'm afraid to spend the money and then find that it sucks. Also I looked online and saw that the tour burner tp's go for around 250 and sometimes lower with matrix shafts. I'm especially interested in these drivers because a matrix shaft costs about the same by itself. Anybody have one, and if you do how does it feel? (P.S. my parents have a type of rule that because its a highschool sport, they will financially support me partially, but im also getting a job because with todays club prices I need all the money I can get)
  8. Hello everybody, I'm kind of stuck at a cross road right now because I'm at that unique point in my game when almost all of my equipment needs to be replaced or updated at the same time. the first is that my driver, an original sumo 4950 driver is regular shaft flex. Last summer the head pro helped me get my weight shift alot better and because of this increase in power I know snap hook my drives unless I push the club like no other. With the prices of some of the new shafts that are coming out do you think I should get a new shaft or a new driver all together? second is that I also need new irons. I have ignites which I got the summer before freshman year ( I'm a sophomore now). these are now almost obsolete as I can play blades (ball striking is amazing, but due to my size distance is not). I have tried a couple irons at the local shop including the mizuno mp 52's, the nike vr split cavity's. I personally liked the mizunos more because they did whatever I wanted, but the ballooned slightly, and the pro said that I should try the mp 62 to get rid of the balloon. But the nikes seemed to be more forgiving. just curious as to what a bunch of random strangers can suggest for me.
  9. exactly, until he gets the club through and then they just kinda flips up
  10. I think you just went under the placebo effect. You didnt know that you were aimed that incorrectly, or that the loft was banged off. this is your putter, and unfortunatly because the guy at the store showed you that what you had was wrong and what he had was right, you are probably going to have that in your mind for a while. But I think you should stick with your original
  11. your legs are kinda pale, , but really it just looks like its really nice, do you muscle through the ball with your arms or do you actually push off the ground with you back foot on the follow through ( just looked like the leg moved because thats what everyone says it should do, not because it helps with power)
  12. what are those, they look like older taylormades, but they have the ribbings on the back like the newer ones?
  13. I really expect to make putts in 5 to 6 feet and in, but my coach is really getting on me about it saying that it should be 12 and in I can be expected to make
  14. depends, If I'm hitting a regular shot I keep my tempo smooth, almost slow, and make sure I get the weight shift right, and just let it flow. If I'm hitting a stinger(Like tiger ) i keep the same thoughts, but think more about hitting into the turf like an iron, trying to pinch the ball
  15. why is it that no one is listening, or at least addressing the fact that Miura is not part of titleist, where as cameron is and not only that but Miura has compared his irons to titleist in order to show how much better he thinks his irons are
