20 minutes of 3-15 ft putting and 20 minutes of mirror work

Spent 30 minutes getting a shot map for PW

Spent half an hour getting a shot map for my 50 degree wedge. Distance was around what I thought but should be aiming about five yards right of my intended target.

10 minutes mirror practice and played 18

30 minutes hitting pitch shots to various target distances while focusing on backswing and moving weight forward in downswing.

July 8 - 30 minutes LSW 1-20y chipping

Best I could get done was the minimum. 5 minutes mirror practice.

30 minutes chipping practice using the 1-20 yard game/drill from LSW + 15 minutes mirror practice with backswing

Warmed up on range for half an hour then played 18.

Thanks Mike. I have been focusing on the backswing piece. Here is a super slo mo practice swing. To my eyes, the backswing looks pretty good. I've been focusing on that piece and not the other two but I just swung through to the finish for this video.

30 minute of pitches this morning before work and about 15 minutes total of mirror work on backswing throughout the day

Just found your thread today and will be following. Sorry to hear about your lost baby. We have had several friends go through that in the last couple of years. It's never easy but I hope she was not very far along as my best friend lost one at 19 weeks which was rather traumatic.

Golf is a funny sport. I played on the Saturday before Father's Day at Lonnie Poole, N.C. State's course which is hosting the Women's ACC Championship. Tough course. I played from the Reds which were 70.7/130 6500 . It is a tough course if you miss the fairway, very links like with 12 inch fescue. If you are in the fairway it's not that bad. Well, I was not in the fairway. Shanked 6i OB on second hole, things like that. I shot a 99 which broke my streak of 80s scores so I was pretty bummed. I did make a brilliant shot on the 18th from 215 to about 10 ft. Where was that all day. Now to the funny part. I played on Monday at my local easier course from the whites, 68/120/6000 and still did not drive well at all (1 fairway)l but irons were solid and I scrambled my tail off including my lowest putt total of 28 (thanks Edel!). Anyway, I shot a 79 which was a goal I had for the year to break 80 at the whites and then move back and play from the blues. I have played the blues before and I doubt I will shoot much differently but I wanted to reach that milestone. So after rounds in the 85-90 range for the last two months, I shoot a 99 and then a 79. :) So my average is about the same, hah. The play this month has also dropped my hcp from 15.9 down to 14.7 today. Started the year at 14.2 so coming back down the mountain...

Since this was me I will comment. Rob at Edel as much as admitted it was their fault and that there was an internal communication error. I admit I should have known what I wanted, but they pitch all of these customization options but then some can't be done on certain shapes. Example, what I wanted could not be done on the sole of the mallet as he said it would collapse the sole due to things being hand stamped. A customer can't know that going into the store.

I agree completely. I am very, very satisfied with the product (28 putts yesterday and an average of "Average Pro" playing the putting games from Every Stroke Counts my first time out with the putter) but for the price, you would expect the customer service to also be at an exceptional level. Thankfully, I did not have the fitter issue of others but I agree, they have some work to do on getting the rest of the company up to the level of the product/price.

I am not supposed to be practicing (doctor's orders) but I have been doing some mirror work without a club and slow stuff with a club and as I am supposed to play tomorrow (doctor's orders :) ) I wanted to see where I am. I think this is better but still not right. The camera angle is not perfect but the sway is much less now.

Yes he said it would be with a 60 and that you essentially hit that and based on the launch angle the fit you into the grind that has the bounce of the difference between your loft and launch angle. So If you hit the 60 with a 50 launch angle they fit you into whichever one is 10 degrees of bounce and then do some formula for the other lofts. I don't think anyone in NC fits on grass. David Orr down at Campbell is listed on the website but when I contacted him about a putter fitting he said he no longer fit for Edel.
