wrentham outlets, wrentham MA my man... they have an ecco outlet, callaway/ashworth outlet, reebook that carries norman gear, and they also have a bobby jones store as for creases, I have not been able to stop that but it takes some time for that to happen to the shoe. I use shoe trees to try and keep the shape

impressive... one of those was beat to SHIT how was the turn around time? -
not worth it in anyway... the only way I would spend two grand on a putter would be for a fully custom session in the bettinardi studio (studioB) for a flatstick made exactly for my stroke, height, weight preference, lie angle, ect etc

I think McCain just became the frontrunner
DDBowdoin replied to Smallville's topic in The Grill Room
so we have... FOX vs..... MSNBC, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, THE NEW YORK TIMES, LA TIME, THE BOSTON GLOBE hmm, yeah... but Fox is terrible -
to be quite honest, this may sound harsh, but I am to selfish to be a socialist. many believe that this country was built with the blood, sweat, and tears of immigrants and I personally agree with this statement. my grandfather came here when he was 18, worked two full time jobs, raised his family, and never took a dime from the government. he loved this country with an intense passion, so much so that when he wanted to become a citizen he was forced to go to the korean war to get his citizenship. imagine that happening today? it just wouldnt happen in todays America. I work hard each and every day and take pride in what I do and what I earn. With that in mind I refuse to allow others to come to this country and live off the wealth of others. Todays immigrant is not the same of this countries past. I live right in the city and three miles from me is a great deal of poverty... They will never have the opportunity to enjoy the luxuries of life but... they get subsidized housing through welfare/section 8, food stamps, baby food and supplies through wic, subsidized access to public transportation, free healthcare through the state - ZERO copays on any visits, emergeny room visits, and perscriptions, free televison because it was determined that cable was an essential right to allow people to feel connected with society all on my dime...

did you get custome lie angles for your irons?
DDBowdoin replied to localhawaii's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
its really more based on your posture and how you naturally stand over a ball... its pretty important to get checked and if ordered through a manufacturer it is a free feature -
I am always on the lookout for "cosmetic blemish" shoes... they are essentially the same and have MINOR differences, most of which are not noticable. When I said they were not the most comfortable shoes I didn't mean they were comfortable, they just arent on the same level as an Addidas Tour 360. The heel has four spikes which is traditionally a "cart" shoe. I own a pair of Ecco World Class GTX that I was lucky enough to find on sale at a local Ecco outlet. When they were installing the goretex lining it produced a faint blue line down the center of the heel, you really have to look at the shoe to see the line. Anyways, they were marked down to 150 form 399.99 I saw Bubba Watson wearing these at the Deutchse Bank a few years ago and instantly just fell in love. Just wanted to share a deal with my fellow brothers here on the sandtrap

Which Of These Wedges Would You Choose
DDBowdoin replied to adpostel's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
if you are new to the game its more important to add a wedge to your bag to learn how to use them and the benefits of filling gaps in your bag. in time you'll learn the advantages of a forged wedge, varying groove designs, sole grinds, bounce settings etc etc etc but for now focus on getting those clubs in your bag. if money is an issue the adams set is the way to go IMHO http://www.rockbottomgolf.com/adams-...wedge-set.html you can't beat that deal for a NEW set of wegdes -

My fellow coworkers and I were having a heated debate at lunch around this tricky topic. I said golf, but a majority of people I know (non golfers obviously) do not feel golf is a sport. SO besides golf, because that is the obvious answer, what is the most technically skilled sport in the world. My vote goes to hockey... skating is an intense skill at an elite level, combine that skill alone with the fact that you must be physical, be able to shoot, pass, have amazing vision and foresight, culminates into a number of high intensity skills all happening in a relatively short span of time. I think that hitting a baseball at MLB speeds is the single most difficult activity in sports but its a singular skill only. You can be overweight in baseball and still be a star, Ortiz and Fielder and good examples. Baseball players can also be specialists and its ok if you falter in some areas. Beyond 4th line NHL'ers hockey players are expected to excel in all aspects of the game - offensive zone, neutral zone, and defensively. Pitchers pitch and first baseman only play first base but defensemen score and forwards play great defense and at times they all play goalie.

I always pull for the Habs, but with center ice I will watch the bruins and the Habs mostly. But its the Habs all the way in 2008!
