  1. I'm actually the opposite.... the last time I went out I shot a 50 on the front and a 38 on the back. It always takes me a while to get warmed up even though I hit balls on the range. I've done that a lot lately, struggled on the front and completely turned it around on the back.
  2. I love my 60* and depend on it for a majority of my shots from 70yards and in. For me it is easier to varying shot by delofting the club than it is to open a 56* club up for high soft shots. I've spent countless hours practicing with my 60* do I'm fairly confident with it. Out of those, I would go with the Vokey 60/6 raw...
  3. For me was my old Nike T-40 steel shafted 3-wood. I have a TM R5 and don't use it most of the time b/c I don't have the same confidence off the deck as I did with the Nike.
  4. Mp-60's, my wife was able to get them off of ebay for that price range for Father's Day
  5. 7-iron for me, use it for warm-up, to work on technique, hit shots from 165 and under...
  6. Always have played with steel, love the weight on clubs. I've tried my brother's SuperSteels with graphite and just couldn't get used to them. Maybe if I played with them more, but steel shafts just give me that confidence with the weighting which beats out any performace aspects between the two.

  8. I thinks it's going to take a while to focus on his game without his Dad's support. I mean think about it, his Dad was so integrated into every facet of his golfing career that for Tiger it would seem impossible to seperate the two. I remember watching one of those recent Tiger specials on the GC...when he was talking about how important his Dad still is at this point even though he can't make it to all the tourneys. He would be struggling that day and later call his Dad for input (since he was watching him play on TV), and his Dad would tell him what he saw Tiger doing differently than before. Tiger would take the advice, put it to use the next day and turn things around. His Dad knew his son's tendecies and swing, and Tiger used this as support. It wouldn't surprise me if it takes him a while to get back to the level before his dad died.
  9. The momentus is a great way to get loose, but there hasn't been any change in my game. You'd be better off filling an old club with sand or something of the sort. The best training aid I've ever had is 6 ft. of pvc pipe along with a T-fitting....cut the pipe up into 2ft sections and tada...alignment tool. Best $2.50 I have spent towards improving the golf game so far.
  10. My hands sweat too much so I have to wear a glove. I usually rotate between two gloves during a round, and have a retired glove I use on the range. I usually hang up the glove that gets too damp on the corner pole of the cart or on my bag to dry out and keep switching that way.I can usually get 15-25 rounds out of a glove before it starts getting to the point to moving to DR duty.

    Tee Height

Seem to get the best distance and launch from the middle of the ball being slightly above the top of the clubface.
  12. Just found this site...coming over from GR... Gonna be nice having a variety of threads rather than just on one site.
