  1. Had to chime in and confess. I went from Winn's 5WDG on my irons to Golf Pride M/C and glad I made the change. Two totally different feels/types of grips. From this: To this: Really like the Golf Pride joints. Can't wait for the grips on my woods and hybrids to wear out.
  2. Had to revive this thread instead of creating a new one. I to am having cart bag envy and looking to replace my slowly deteriorating hand-me-down bag I got from my buddy. I’ve narrowed my choices down to a few and would love your suggestions/opinions on this. I’m an analytical person and have put in a bunch of research in hopes of just buying one bag and not having to replace it because of poor quality and/or growing out of it’s size/fad/storage capacity etc… I’m really feeling the Bag Boy Revolver but the only downfall I have is I wish the putter clip was an external well style. A couple of my golf buds have them and while on the cart I found it kinda cumbersome to find the club due to the flat top. I wish they offered or made it so it still revolves but in a theatre style setting. This is where Bennington’s Quit Organizer comes in. Bennington has the theatre style organizer but doesn’t rotate. But the Bennington retails at $230-ish on up and the ’08 Revolver currently from Golfsmith is selling for $129. Sent an e-mail yesterday to BagBoy asking what the difference was on the ’08 and ’09 (’09 retails at $179.99) and got a speedy reply this morning: “Thank you for your e-mail. The only differences between both models is that the bottom clips are positioned a little higher up on the 2009 model and they are removable, and the color schemes have changed. Otherwise the 2009 is the same as the 2008 model. Regards, John Bag Boy Co. That being said – makes good sense to buy the ’08 if one wanted one unless the subtle changes warrants the ’09. This is where the BagBoy owners chime in. ;) Bennington’s Quiet Organizer Still debating which would suit my needs better – the QO 12 or QO 10 or QO9. QO12 Thinking this may be a little too big. Perhaps more on the staff size bag? QO10 QO9 Doesn’t look like it has a designated putter well/scabbard. BagBoy Revolver BagBoy Pro May be too big? Cool removable cooler feature. May end up being lost in my case. Lower on the list is Ogio - the Anamoly I think it's called? What do you think folks! E
  3. Great images! What digi-cam are you using?
  4. I too use oobgolf.com! Pretty slick system especially if you use it on your iphone - you can automatically upload from your iphone to oobgolf. Simple as total score or more detailed fairways hit, putts, bunkers, club used off tee, penalties etc. And it graphs your previous scores if you have history on the same course. And gives you a handicap which is almost identical to my GHIN index.
  5. I'd call that a toe curl. Not to be confused with on that has a crease. ie: Camel toe.
  6. I find my self in the same shooz. ;)
  7. Sorry Mods if this is a repost - feel free to delete if so. Pretty fitting.... GWS rest of field! http://www.usatoday.com/news/video/p...ect=1043236310
  8. IIRC there's actually a longer version where he's dropping expletives. Not commercial but from a Golf Channel show.
  9. As Erik mentioned - just got confirmation from my friend that says it's a one time fee of $19.95. GPS are alien to me hence my multiple threads asking for information. I like the feeling of knowing the yardage without guessing but I don't have enough golf buddies with different units to get real life test drive.
  10. Those who already have Skycaddie's SG5 may already know of the upgrade since I was forwarded this information from a friend that has one. If you're researching GPS systems like I have for the last two months Skycaddies new upgrade sounds enticing. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated in hopes of me narrowing down my decision: New SkyCaddie software upgrade package is now available! Course and Feature Expansion Package Take advantage of these new features to help you play your best golf. This Course and Feature Expansion Package software upgrade allows you to store up to 20 courses on your SkyCaddie and automatically gives you green depth information. You can also use the Auto Distance Meter feature to measure your drives and fine-tune your short game. Mark your ball location and watch the meter as you move toward your target. Keep your watch in your bag, because your SkyCaddie will give you time of day on the screen full time. • 20 course download capability •Depth of Green •Time of day •Auto distance meter from last mark •International Icons (Available for SkyCaddie SG5 only)
  11. GWS rest of the field.
  12. Greetings Cheese Head! LOL - just kidding. Laveen folk here and new to the forum as well. I started late (almost 2 years ago) and I'm 43 and enjoy every moment on the range or the course. I play Aguila's par 3 a lot in hopes of honing the short game and mainly because the green fees have been outragous lately. For me, that is. Edward.
  13. I wouldn't use the word hate and I base my picks by how they hold themselves in public/interviews. Garcia and the many demons he has. No excuse for spitting in the cup. Must admit he's showed maturity last year. Rory for expressing lack of tolerance for something he can't control. ie: supposed slow play with whom he was paired with. Also the jab at Tiger = not so smart. Phil. Can't stand his man-boobs. Put a bra on for Pete's sake! Woody. I don't think an explanation is needed. Daly for not taking full advantage of what he's capable of. Pat Perez. Paula Creamer. Nothing wrong with being competitive but taking it out on her caddy and displaying frustrations doesn't seem so lady-like to me. Basically the people listed would be folks I wouldn't want to be grouped with at a course because of their actions. I'd rather play with a full on beginner with a great attitude vs. a seasoned player with temper tantrum.
  14. I go back to the old batting technique of taking a step towards the pitcher. The "step/squat" feel/sensation is the goal. For me, that is.
