I own a new TM Burner 9.5 with reg. flex shaft...only bought it on Friday - yet to take it out on the course. On the range it is a bomber of note, they seem to be going straight & far... hopefully it is half as good on the course as it is on the range!!!

Euro Trash, like the lot of them...that's quite a generalisation isn't it ? He spat in the cup, didn't beat his wife/partner, or steal from anyone or arrive at the tournament drunk or give up when he had a bad round, or gamble away millions in earnings...what he did was wrong, but lets get a bit of perspective he spat in the cup and had a go at a spectator ( still mild compared to what Steve Williams gets up to most rounds )

I can't comment on past players like Snead, Hogan et al. - of the current lot I like Retief Goosen's swing it looks so relaxed i.m.o. , I used to be a big fan of Ernie Els's swing but it looks like he has become far more mechanical of late.

Can only have been for the cash...

Money . money , money is all it's about....

I believe that Ernie Els is leaving Titleist with immediate effect and that Callaway have bought out the remainder of his contract with them...

I reckon he will be the man who makes the big difference for the USA...being a leader and showing the others how it is done. He just has a look about him at the moment, a look that that says " no one is better at this game than me, and I am going to prove it"

Is there a test that you have to pass if you want to pro-create and have children? - No!!! What make s agolf course so special that you should have to write a test before being allowed to use it? I know that when i started playing golf, the first thing i did before I even bought clubs was I started reading and researching the game. Befroe I went onto the course I went for lessons with a pro, and then spent hours on the range. Only when I felt comfortable that I would not make a total ass of myself on the course did I call my mates, who were regular golfers, saying that I though i was ready to 'hit the links' . Not everybody would take this approach, but if everybody is perhaps given a flyer when they pay their green fees to remimd them to fill their divots and repair pitch marks etc. that should suffice.

I think their respective careers speak for themselves...check out the major count and tournament wins count... If my life depended on any golfer in the world playing for it, ( inside or outside 150 yards) , it would be Tiger...

With all the 'out of bounds' areas on the course, we could be in for an interesting Open Championchip. The 'bombers' like Tiger, FIGJAM, and Vijay might have to have a look at their strategy off the T - Box. If Tim Clark's short game is up to scratch, he is my sleeper for this one. As a South African, I would also like to see Ernie Els raise his game, and maybe take the honours.

Surely the clubs that you use, depends on each persons game and what their strengths and weaknesses are. A 24 handicapper like myself might prefer to go with all Taylormade or Callaway products because they might suit my game better than all PING or Titleist equipment. I would go with Taylormade, as I already use a Rescue and RAC OS irons , would love a new R5 , but can't afford it at the moment. I like the look of their AGSI insert putters and their new Y-Cutter wedges look pretty decent too. To complete the package I would use TP Red balls and Tour 360 Adidas shoes.
