  1. Well, strangely enough, I actually went to a stack and tilt type swing. I haven't gotten to posting any videos because I am still developing it, but I will try to soon. Consequently it has also helped my short-game, being that in my old swing the worst area was the first few feet in the backswing. Thus I had less time to react and fix the poor takeaway on the short shots.
  2. Thanks for the insight.
  3. Nice! The greens are really fast. I played Hawks for a tournament, they had the rough at 5in plus, but thats sick I wish I could be a member there.
  4. Yea bro, from the AtL. Used to be a member at OAC, but now I'm a member at Bears Best.
  5. Well, it all roots back to my old swing which was very flat. Therefore, I worked on getting more upright using the feeling of having the club go straight back. Using this swing thought for a extended period of time made me develop this "hip bump" which in turn developed "down-lag". The reason is because my arms and club are still going up while my hips and lower body start to unwind therefore creating lag. I have now gotten my swing into a better position for consistency, i.e. more on plane backswing which has lessened these habits. As for a feeling, its really something I've just always done, but I can describe it as if you were using a whip and were unwinding your hips while still in your backswing. I'm sorry I couldn't describe this better, it's really something I do by habit and not really by "thinking" of it.
  6. Iron Down the Line: Par 3, 217 yards (5 iron) Driver Down the Line
  7. Thanks man! Most likely going to post another swing tomorrow. Well, right now with my current swing I am hitting a small fade. I don't usually draw the ball, but I can if I must.
  8. New Swing (Another swing tomorrow) Feel free to subscribe!
  9. *Update Been snowed in for the past few days, probably no golf for about another week.
  10. Thanks bro! You too!
  11. *Update Wow, its been a while, but I will actually post a video within the next few days.
  12. I think if you just have less knee-bend and stand closer to the ball, that give you a more upright posture. Then just work on your tempo and finishing on your left side more? I really like your swing (on plane).
  13. The far left one isn't so bad.
  14. Haha no. I was going to post a vid today (haven't in a while because of a broken camera), but its raining here. Anyways, people say my swing looks like Rickie Fowler. Not sure if thats good or bad?
  15. Anyone know of a really good water proof glove, bag, and grip?
  16. You bring the club too far inside on the backswing, try to get the club parallel with that shaft in front of your feet. You also have a high, fade finish. Also, try posting a front on picture to help us see everything in your swing. Hope this helps
  17. I guess the let anyone be a head pro these days....
  18. Well, if I understand correctly, all golf used to be played in the match play format. I don't know about you, but I prefer this format. It seems to be a lot more competitive. I have had some experience in match play, at the Nike Cup (junior event where Georgia plays Alabama), and my record in singles has been 7.0.1. I haven't lost in over 4 years. What do you think?
  19. Well, my game has finally started to turn around. This time I actually will post a new video, hopefully I will have time at my tournament tomorrow.
  20. I'm still hooking the ball. During my tournament today, I tried to slice it,and I still hit a 15 yard draw. I shot 75, 82, 80. I don;t know anymore. I'm completely lost, I hit an average of 3-5 greens per round. I'll try to post some videos tomorrow. I have officially found a place lower than rock bottom....
  21. Well, I fixed my hook with feeling like my hands go left after impact, trying to hit the butt end of the club into my left thigh. No more hook.
  22. Whatever you do, don't try to lift it into the air. Hit down on it as if it was a wedge, and you will hit it as good as a 8 iron. I hope this helps!
  23. Tips and swing thoughts to get rid of it.
  24. Well, I found my hook again today. I can't seem to get rid of it, although I don't want a slice. My contact feels really good, I usually don't miss-hit it, its just not very straight right now. Could you guys post some swing thoughts to stop this?
