  1. lol Yeah I noticed this too yesterday when I had a chance to over take him. I hadn't adjusted the AI yet so I was still blowing away the field. I ended up winning by 20 something over Tiger and I still didn't get the number 1 ranking. Kinda pissed me off to be honest.
  2. Its a swing only a mother could love. I do root for him though. I want to see him do well since he got his chance off The Big Break.
  3. lol Well the thing is that I've already purchased them and have rec'd them. They do have the set of numbers on the hosel just above the grain flow forged legend that is laser etched. Luckily, those numbers are on all the clubs. I tried searching for the thread that you posted photos in but was not successful in finding it.
  4. I've seen and read many posts about people buying fake Mizuno clubs. Well I decided to take the chance and try the Russian Roulette of buying a set of Mizuno MP 68s on Ebay. Well everything looks on the up and up but I'm no expert. I've read that there is a serial number or something of the sort to verify authenticity underneath the grips on the original shafts. Now I'm not all gung ho about yanking a grip off the club, especially not knowing what exactly I'm looking for. Do any of you guys have any suggestions about how to verify authenticity aside from taking it to the local Edwin Watts ?
  5. So how did you come across this ?
  6. This is just my personal experience, but I've alway enjoyed hearing my buddies hit their Taylormade Burners. I play with the Cleveland Monster XLS and its nothing close to the clean crisp sound that those Taylormades make. Almost bought one just because of the sound. lol Always felt kind of silly because I would look forward to hearing someone else tee off with one.
  7. Go ahead and give in if you already want it. No need in wondering " What if " later down the line. I game one and I've come to enjoy the way it looks. Makes you a little more unique out there on the golf course when everyone else looks the same. As a matter of fact... I don't think I've seen anyone else play with one in my area since I've been playing it. lol I hope thats not speaking to its performance. Anyway. you'll be glad you did it.

I play in Tyler mostly. A lot of Oakhurst, Peachtree, and PineSprings every now and then.
  9. What do you guys think about the deal that Cleveland has going right now. Where you buy a new set and can trade them in when a newer model comes in for free ! Its like buy one get one. This is from their website.... Here’s the deal. If you purchase a set of in-line Cleveland Golf Irons (CG7 irons, CG7 Tour irons, Launcher Irons, HiBORE Xli irons, CG Tour irons or Bloom Xli irons for women (really everything we make)) in 2009, you will be eligible to trade in your set for any of the new models of equal or lesser value •introduced from January 2010 to December 2011 at no charge. All you have to do is buy your set at an authorized Cleveland Golf dealer and register your purchase. Anyway... Just hadn't seen anyone post anything about it. Sounds like a pretty cool deal if you're the kind of guy (or gal) that likes to have new stuff often. lol I'm kind of guilty of that myself. I'd hop on it in a heart beat if my wife wouldn't beat me.
  10. Hate to say it...ok.. Not really... Tiger Woods, He's a bad mother trucka.
  11. Don't really have a home course, but if I had to say it would be www.easttexasgolf.com
  12. I'm an RN in Texas
