  1. I will agree when I bought them the only thing that concerned me was the loft differences. But that concern has completely been removed since I've been hitting and playing them. 'Stupid easy to hit' is a very accurate description. I love the fact that I can now comfortably hit a 4 iron again...and get it out past 200 yds with relative ease. I really like the feel of the wedges too ( got the SW also) All in all I can't recommend these enough even to single digit caps who want some extra distance and are slightly less than perfect ball strikers like me. The mishits are incredibly forgiving.
  2. Anyone else have these irons yet? I am an 8 hdcp and about a month ago I was fitted for irons. Hit a few different brands and shafts but couldn't stop going back to these things. I don't see a lot of love for these things just yet. I know they are supposed to be game improvement irons and more for mid to high caps but man, I just hit these things so well. I know they are newly released but why is there not more positives out there? I have been hitting them for 3 weeks now and ball striking has never been better. Interested to hear some feedback from others who have them.
  3. Sounds like a lot of fun. I would have the ladies take their 3 favorite clubs and encourage them to choose the ones they can use for more than one kind of shot (ex: fairway wood over driver) and definitely have your wife take the flat stick if she can putt. for you, it would depend on the course and conditions but in general I would choose 1) 4 or 5 iron for tee, fairways & putting or if you don't like long irons take a hybrid, 2) 7 or 8 for approach shots & chipping, 3) your favorite wedge.
  4. In all likelihood, I would go for it unless there is a stiff breeze into me. My 3H or 5W would be enough and I hit both of those well. So chalk one up for going for it.
  5. If there ever was a year that it likely won't be "chalk" it's this year.
  6. NC, MSU, Texas A&M, Miami.....I think there will be more chaos than normal this year.
  7. Yup, this. I bought a set of graphite shaft irons years ago, played them for half a season and got rid of them for just this reason.
  8. i just bought the TM irons you are referring to...M2's. I am an 8 hdcp and quite frankly, I love them. Played my first round the other day and shot -1 on the back nine (made putts but hit all solid iron shots). I was never the best ball striker specifically with long irons but these clubs are very forgiving and hitting a 4 or 5 iron is now like hitting a 6 or 7 iron...first under par 9 in over a year!
