  2. Ya. I've been sniffing around some callaway x forged but I'm going to try and hold off and demo a bunch of stuff and see. I really like my Golfsmith Pro Forged
  3. I like 130. I'm very comfy with my 9 iron and thats an easy nine iron distance. I always want a full swing. My distance control with less than a full swing needs work bad. On shorter courses I'll hit irons off the tee box on par 4's to have long approaches into the greens. The 50yd pitch is a nightmare for me right now due to distance control.. I might hit it 70 or 30 but I'm not going to be 20 yds wayward with a nine iron
  4. I agree with breezy. I fight a hook most of the time but with driver when it starts going right I'm swinging too hard. All I have to do is tone it down and it straightens out. My irons I feel like I swing 85% or so. Driver only feels like 60% and I still get good distance and better control backing down. As others have said make sure you're aligned and aimed good
  5. Yikes... just getting back into the game after a few year hiatus. Torn rotator cuffs, broken ankles and other goodies from wakeboarding and motorcycle track days take a toll. Anyways, played for the first time in a few years last month and forgot how much fun and challenging this game was. Still hitting my old Golfsmith Pro Forged and Ping ISI irons and a hand me down Taylor Made driver from dad. A little inconsistent but understandable. I was a single digit handicapper when I first injured my shoulder so I figured some really good shots and some really bad ones. Nothing like the good ole bogey train with a snowman thrown in. BTW that Handicap Index on the left is a SWAG, I really have no idea these days Figured I'd get on here and get some insight but haven't gotten out of the golf equipment section yet.. So thanks Seems like a cool informative site. Good stuff
  6. Driver-265 + 3 wood-235- 2 iron- 220-230 3 iron- 210 4 iron- 200 5 iron- 190 6 iron- 180 7 iron- 165 8 iron- 150 9 iron- 135 P wedge- 125 I'm the oddball.. I'd much rather hit a 2 or 3 iron off the fairway than a wood. No idea why that is, I'm just much more confident with them. I can hit a 2-iron off the tee all day but can't keep a 3 wood in the same state for some reason.. lol
  7. Getting back in shape to play. Torn rotator cuff and ankle/leg injuries from wakeboarding make golf more difficult. Played my 5th round in the last 3 years this past weekend and look forward to playing more again and getting back in the "swing"
  8. CAD software development and support for the phone factory
