  1. Hi guys, I'm interested in knowing how many men play stiff shafts past the age of 60. I bought my Burners last year based on my age rather than my swing speed so I bought reg flex. Yesterday I was told by the folks at Golfsmith that I should be swinging stiff shafts. I'm not so certain that I want to buys a new set. What say you?
  2. Ya know guys, I gotta say that I'm starting to believe that Carling could pull this off. I think Lili will get the boot on the next show even if they are eluding to Elena showing up. Well They got the Shark to make an appearance, why not Elena.
  3. Claremont Ca. It was my 3rd. lesson from my pro. 120 yd. par 3 . In the cup!!! He doubled my lesson fees.
  4. Well guys, I've got to agree that this season has been a huge disapointment to me. I really enjoy Big Break but this season lacks something. Oh yea, GOLF!!!!!
  5. Thanks for the tips KS. I think it's just become a head thing. I'll take your advice. Chas, Are you the golf god? CAN I HAVE MY STOKE BACK NOW?
  6. Well, I can promise you this..... If I could see a clown shoot out of any of these girls asses, I'm there!!! With the possible exception of Lilly. Gotta comment on the cattyness of Sara... I don't think it was all that bad. I think she was just pissed about missing her shot by 1/2 an inch. I'd be ready to rip off someone's head too. I think Carling is a very sweet kid and I can empathize with her as I have one of those damned pumps as well.
  7. 6 weeks ago I could close my eyes and everything dropped into the hole. Now it's 3 put on every hole. Yesterday I was on every green in regulation and 2 or 3 putted evey one of the damned things. It's driving me crazy. Back to my PGA pro I recon.
  8. WOW! I'm amazed that not too many of you are considering Sara. I haven't really seen a weakness in her and she's the only golfer to make any points in the last episode so she can obviously play under pressure. My pick is still Sara.
  9. I purchased the 3 and 5 to go with my new TM Supertri driver and have a problem. These things are hard to hit. No problem making contact but I have to slow my swing so much that I have to completely change my swing when I use them. Question is; does anyone else have this problem or am I just a moron?
  10. As with every season of Big Break, The producers seem somehow to be able to bring out the worst in the contestants. My pick to win will have to be Sara. Not because I'd like to bite her A$$ and have her drag me to death but I think she has the game to win. I wont do the biting until after the show is over.
  11. This is an interesting exchange. Most golf balls will work if you know how to hit them (not quite there yet) but I;ve gotta say that some just fit folks game better than others. While golfing in Maui last month, I found an NXT TOUR, I've been playing a Pro V1 for about 2 1/2 years, The NXT TOUR fit my game and I've been playing them ever since. Great ball, great distance and green side control. A golf ball is kinda personal to most people, one may be great for one person but not for everyone. You just have to play what feels right for your swing.
  12. Yep, I tried it. Then I put it back in the rack where it came from. Damn near hit myself in the head.
  13. Robbo, Dude, You're not suppose to have these grips anywhere near your but.
  14. Well, I've checked it out and your chronology is correct and I can't find a thing that came out last November. This is what happens when we don't do our homework.
  15. Hi GoGolfing. I was under the impression that something was to come out last November which was stated somewhere at the end of the match. I'll check it out.
  16. The only dis-agreement with you reply is the timeline. I believe Grand Slam was his last book and it just came out last November. Before that it was "The Match" which was my favorite. Glad you liked them though.
  17. Just finished reading The Grand Slam by Mark Frost. I've read all of his books and think he's probably the formost author on golf related subjects to date. Grand Slam is a little long but very interesting if you are one who likes to put a books subject in a time period with what else is going on in the world. A very good history lesson and being a history person myself, all events described are accurate. Recommended for those on vacation with some time to read unless you are a speed reader like my daughter who read it in an afternoon. Took me a week.
  18. I've had a Raylor in my bag since they first came out. They will work fine from the fairway once you get used to them. Pick it clean and watch it fly. The head seems a little smallish and the distance suffers vs. a standard hybrid but for trouble shots the are wonderful.

    The Hammer

Well, I don't think I want to take the time to read all of these posts although some look really funny BUT...... I can tell you that since buying the hammer My drives are 400 yds. longer and my teethe have never been whiter. Regards, Jack
  20. As I'm sure that many of you have seen the infomercial on this putter, I found it somewhat intriguing . Has anyone got any feedback on it?
  21. I've put the Winn Lite on my TM Super Tri. I like the feel but it seems to wear fast.
  22. I had been using the Pro V1 until a recent trip to Hawaii. I found an NXT Tour on the second hole at Wailea Emerald and fell in love with it. It fits my game and bought a couple dozen when I got home.
